Welcome

Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to the London Transport WikiProject! We're a group of editors working to improve Wikipedia's coverage of London's transport system.

There are a variety of interesting things to do within the project; you're free to participate however much—or little—you like:

  • Starting some new articles? Our Manual of style outlines some things to include. The project also provides templates to help you make the perfect article.
  • Want to know how good our articles are? The assessment department has rated the quality of every London transport article in Wikipedia.
  • Suggest an interesting London Transport fact for inclusion on the Did You Know? section of our portal.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask a fellow member, and we'll be happy to help you. Again, welcome! We look forward to seeing you around!

From the members of WikiProject London Transport

Hi Berrely. Perhaps you can clarify why you licensed this file as {{non-free logo}}? -- Marchjuly (talk) 01:14, 4 May 2020 (UTC)
@Marchjuly: I would say there is reasonable doubt as to whether File:Air Senegal logo.png meets the TOO in the US (see my comment at MCQ for an explenation), meaning that File:Air Senegal Logo.svg can be appropriately tagged as non-free. --MrClog (talk) 20:14, 4 May 2020 (UTC)
Just a courtesy notification that the file is now being discussed at Wikipedia:Files for discussion/2020 May 5#File:Air Senegal logo.png. -- Marchjuly (talk) 01:31, 6 May 2020 (UTC)

Scripts

Hey there @Berrely:What software, if any, are you using for your scripts? Per the conversation I am looking into to see if I can find anything to help us out in removing references, etc. Thanks GalendaliaChat Me Up 09:52, 6 May 2020 (UTC)

@Galendalia:, what do you mean? I'm installing scripts in my User:Berrely/common.js page. Currently, the fastest way I can remove references is by going into my reference manager and clicking remove reference on each individual one. — Yours, Berrely • TalkContribs 09:54, 6 May 2020 (UTC)

Ok so you need a way to do that. I may be able to come up with something. Let me think and get back to you. GalendaliaChat Me Up 09:56, 6 May 2020 (UTC)

Invite to Join WikiProject for Spoken Wikipedia

Hi Isochrone! I am Galendalia (talk · contribs) and I am reviving the WikiProject for Spoken Wikipedia. I noticed that you signed up at some point to be a participant and as I am reviving this project, one of my tasks is to get the participant list in order. Would you please go to the Participants List and add your name and language(s) you speak? If you are already there and do not want to be, please remove yourself. If you want to remain, please put remain next to your name. If I do not see anything, I will move you to the inactive participant list. I am putting a timeline of 7 days on this action to help keep things moving along. It would also be great if you would be willing to join the task force for Pronunciation that would be awesome, as there are troublesome words we run into.

Thank you for considering joining us. If you decide to leave, I will be sad to see you leave as so many people have done a great job on the recordings and any work you have done makes a significant difference.
