You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Influencer Z, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. It's a bad idea to write an article about yourself

[edit]

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, but it appears you have written or added to an article about yourself, at Draft:Influencer Z. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was the page I created deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. —C.Fred (talk) 18:59, 27 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Gottcha, but my purpose it to really only have my bio show up when searched for; am not trying to make myself look "accomplished", is there a way I could do that?
Yes. Get a website at Wix or Squarespace or some place set up for web hosting. Wikipedia is not a free webhost, so you can't do it here. —C.Fred (talk) 19:06, 27 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
What if one of my subscribers wanted to make a page about me in the future? Would that get deleted?
It depends...but probably. The article would have to meet the notability criteria for musicians or the general notability criteria; if the article didn't, it would be speedy deleted. It would also have to be written neutrally and based on independent reliable sources. So, frankly, until articles are being written about you in magazines, any future page would be deleted. —C.Fred (talk) 19:10, 27 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
What if I only filled in the bio info page and did not write any biased information; wouldn't that count as just solid info
And what published, independent reliable soures would you be citing? —C.Fred (talk) 17:51, 28 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thanks for message. You can sign your comments automatically using four tildes ~~~~. I deleted your article because

  • it did not provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines. It is now Wikipedia policy that biographical articles about living people must have independent verifiable references, as defined in the link, or they will be deleted. Sources that are not acceptable include those linked to you or an affiliated company, press releases, YouTube, IMDB, Twitter, Facebook, social media and other sites that can be self-edited, blogs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and sites that are just reporting what you claim or interviewing you. Note that references should be in-line so we can tell what fact each is supporting, and should not be bare urls
  • you gave two references, but neither of them mentioned "Influencer Z" anywhere in the text. There is no evidence that you meet the notability guidelines for people or creative professionals. We get hundreds of would-be YouTubers trying to create articles about themselves here, but this isn't social media, you have to meet those criteria, otherwise you are simply not notable enough for an article. The subscriber and view figures you give, even if they were verifiable, are tiny, and there is no indication that you are even a professional, looks like just another non-notable (and very recent) YouTube account.
  • it was written in a promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic. Your article seemed to have no purpose other than to promote yourself and your channel
  • You have an obvious conflict of interest. If, after reading the information about notability linked above, you still believe that you are notable enough for a Wikipedia article (and that there is significant coverage in reliable, independent secondary sources), you could, if you wish, post a request at Wikipedia:Requested articles for the article to be created. See also guidance for editors with conflicts of interest and writing about yourself.

Before attempting to write an article again, please make sure that the topic meets the notability criteria linked above, and check that you can find independent third party sources. Also read Your first article. You might also want to look at Zoella to see what is needed to get an article here.

It's possible that if it becomes clear that you have no interest in being here other than to promote yourself, and that in doing so you are doing undesirable things like removing "Decline" reviews, that you may be blocked from editing altogether. I hope it doesn';t come to that and that you can make useful contributions Jimfbleak - talk to me? 07:01, 28 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
