This biography of a living person is libellous and based on untrue and poorly sourced information. It has been reported to wikipedia for removal. The libellous and untrue information will continue to be removed until Wikipedia can remove it permanently.
Hello! You have very much violated the 3RR policy that we have on English Wikipedia. You have basically been edit warring. Please discuss on the talk page of the article before removing any content from that article again. Thanks, /HeyMid (contributions) 20:50, 18 July 2010 (UTC)
The information I edited was libellous biography based on a living person. Is was based on untrue and poorly sourced information. I have reported this to wikipedia for removal. I have also laid a complaint with Wikipedia about the publishing of this material.
- Your obvious lies are a perfect reason as to why you should be blocked. /HeyMid (contributions) 21:04, 18 July 2010 (UTC)
Biography dispute
[edit]Hi, Independentobserver, I'm an outside editor who saw your edit war on Huljich brothers. I'm going to act as an impartial mediator for this dispute. More specifically, I'm going to look at the sources and content of the sections you have been removing and see if your claims that they're poorly referenced are founded. Let me know on my talk page if you have any questions. Thanks for editing. elektrikSHOOS 21:51, 18 July 2010 (UTC)
- I've looked over the sources and I don't see any reason why that content should be removed. Most of it isn't even libellious and it's all well-sourced, contrary to what you've been insisting. Please don't remove content from Wikipedia again. If you revert the page again, you may be blocked from editing. elektrikSHOOS 22:00, 18 July 2010 (UTC)
This is the only warning you will receive regarding your disruptive edits.
The next time you remove or blank page contents or templates from Wikipedia, as you did to Huljich brothers, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. The information is well-sourced and you have made no effort to discuss the dispute on the article's talk page, instead resorting to blindly removing content. Stop now and discuss it on the talk page. elektrikSHOOS 22:14, 18 July 2010 (UTC)
I have protected this article from editing, due the dispute and edit warring. I realize that you are upset and you will probably be glad to know that the material you dislike is currently out of the article and cannot be restore until the article is unprotected. However, you need to go to the talkpage of the article Talk:Huljich brothers very soon and explain clearly and specifically what was problematic with the text you deleted. Thank you You say that you have complained to WP already. Can you also say where you have laid your complaint? Did you do it via WP:OTRS? --Slp1 (talk) 22:29, 18 July 2010 (UTC)

Update
[edit]Hi. I notice that you have not explained the specific reasons for disliking the article either here or at Talk: Huljich brothers. On the other hand, it seems that you have expressed some concerns at Toddst1's talkpage. You stated there that the Huljick brothers are not famous enough for a WP article, and that you believe that the "Banks and Brash connection is not relevant to the article". Just so you know, WP has various guidelines about who should have articles, and these are summarized here. In short, if sources such as newspapers, books etc have written about a person then generally a WP article is appropriate per our guidelines and policies. Similarly, if newspapers etc have written about a subject, such as the connection between the brothers and Banks/Brash, then it is generally okay for such information to be included in the articles here. The relevant policy about this is here. On the other hand, we are very concerned in incorrect information is added here, most especially if it involves living people. See WP:BLP.
A quick look suggests that there are several mainstream reliable sources (books, newspapers etc) mentioning this family and Peter Huljich's business relationships with Banks and Brash. So, we will need some more specific information about the problems with the article. Please reply soon, in the next 24 hours say, either here or on the talkpage of the article, as otherwise I will remove the unprotection and restore what seems to be well-sourced information. Thank you very much. And don't hesitate to ask for more information or explanation if you need it. --Slp1 (talk) 00:19, 21 July 2010 (UTC)
