A tag has been placed on Plenary Committee of the American Communist Party requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/American_Communist_Party. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. July 2024

[edit]

Please stop. Your persistent attempts to recreate American Communist Party that was deleted following a community discussion at WP:AFD, under that and similar names, is disruptive. If this continues you may have your editing privileges revoked. This should be understood as a Formal red-outlined triangle containing exclamation point Warning. -Ad Orientem (talk) 02:40, 25 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I never “persistently tried to recreate the said site. I created an article/page that was linked to my draft and thus bears no link to your claim of “disruptive contributions/editing”. I put the time and effort to create those pages with citations. In what way is that disruptive? I didn’t even create that page initially! What was the point of deleting my other page? Imxxd17 (talk) 03:16, 25 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at American Communist Party, you may be blocked from editing. Continuing to recreate American Communist Party against consensus will result in your account being blocked from editing. Home Lander (talk) 00:07, 27 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia. Home Lander (talk) 00:11, 27 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I am not disrupting. You guys wanted proof of the ACP on secondary media? I gave it to you. But specifically your standards desire the need for media that is biased and fails to actually address what they represent, such as the Guardian, and they do more to belittle and degrade such people than actually analyse what they are doing. Imxxd17 (talk) 00:19, 27 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
And you’re seriously deleting the ACP and the PCACP pages for a repost? Did you not see the drastic content increase and source addition on the sites? Did you even take the time to review what I added? Imxxd17 (talk) 00:28, 27 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Haz al-Din for deletion

[edit]
A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Haz al-Din is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Haz al-Din until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article until the discussion has finished.

Recreating Deleted Pages

[edit]

Hi Imxxd17 - I recognize that you are frustrated by the deletion of the American Communist Party article, but if you keep recreating it against consensus it will be seen as disruptive editing and may get your account banned.

I would suggest reading up on Wikipedia's notability guidelines before again creating the page. In short -- it's not about the substance of the article, or anyone's personal thoughts on the topic, but rather the lack of significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject. If the party starts to get significant coverage in news sources, books, etc, then it may be worth revisiting, but that does not appear to be the case based on the pages you are continually recreating. Yaksar (let's chat) 23:12, 25 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Frustrated is an understatement- I am totally confused and pissed off as to why not only this page but my other pages are almost immediately getting flagged for speedy deletion. What for? I put time and effort to create the entire code for those articles, trying to improve and add to Wikipedia to the best of my ability, yet Wikipedia administrators can’t seem to wrap that around their head and instantly mark them for deletion. Is this what Wikipedia is now? Why can’t you give the article some time before deleting it? Like 2-3 days. I still managed to have a few secondary sources across the 3 articles, but I cannot understand how the specific information that the person/group says publicly and/or online (primary sources) are regarded as unreliable. Surely Wikipedia and its administration honour the contributions of normal editors? If so, why can’t the least be done by leaving such articles alone even for 1 day before deletion? I find such policies utterly unfair to editors who are trying to fill the information gaps. Imxxd17 (talk) 23:33, 25 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It's being deleted for failing the notability guidelines. It doesn't matter how much blood, sweat and tears you pour into a page -- if the subject isn't discussed at a significant level in independent, reliable sources, it doesn't meet Wikipedia's standards, whether it's a political party, restaurant, rock band, or tech startup. It's not that there isn't verifiable information showing the subject exists (I don't think that part is in question) -- it also has to be notable as shown through independent coverage.
If you want to keep contributing to Wikipedia by creating a page, are there other topics you are interested in that do get notable coverage and lack an article? Perhaps unrelated to political causes and political parties, if that gives more options?--Yaksar (let's chat) 23:40, 25 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I understand if you want to delete other types of pages about organisations, etc, but are you seriously telling me that you need verifiable information (i.e : secondary sources) to agree that Haz al-Din exists? Or do you need a neutral source to speak about his personal views that he’s already mentioned and explained in detail on his own platforms? And by the way, I did put some independent coverage on this page - an entire interview that took up the whole 1st section! Imxxd17 (talk) 23:49, 25 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not really familiar with him -- I'm referring to you continually recreating pages for the American Communist Party using alternative titles, and trying to give you a heads up (or warning, if you'd prefer) that continuing to ignore or circumvent guidelines by doing so is going to get you banned.
That being said, I think you are again misunderstanding the requirements for an article. It is NOT about showing verifiable information to prove the subject exists. Otherwise, just about anyone or any subject would have an article. It's about meeting the notability requirements through significant coverage in reliable sources independent of the subject -- for example, a newspaper, academic textbook, news site generally viewed as reliable, etc. I fully believe that you can provide evidence these subjects exist, but that isn't really an important question here.--Yaksar (let's chat) 23:56, 25 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi! Interviews are, by definition, not independent or secondary, as their content comes from the subject himself even if through another media outlet. Of course, no one is doubting that Haz al-Din exists, but showing that he or his party are notable requires secondary commentary on them. We can't really write an encyclopedic article just from what a person has to say about themselves. Chaotic Enby (talk · contribs) 00:09, 27 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The only ‘secondary commentary’ according to your standards available is biased and disingenuous media like the Guardian that do more to try and defame and belittle their actions rather than address what they follow or stand for. And who would know the party or movement better and what they stand for than the individual(s) themselves? Imxxd17 (talk) 00:17, 27 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

This is unfortunate. Multiple users have tried to advise you on reading up on the notability requirements - continually ignoring all guidance and deliberately breaking the rules to recreate the page without observing the notability requirements is likely going to get you banned.--Yaksar (let's chat) 01:05, 27 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Give me a break. Multiple users who haven’t even taken the time to actually review the changes I’ve made but instead mark it for instant deletion because it’s the consensus of other Wikipedia administrators. I can see why your last edit on wikipedia as a non-administrator was quite a while ago. No-one has any incentive to actually be on this site as an editor if the people who manage what is visible to other people is restricted. I provided substantially more information and more importantly media coverage that shows the party is being represented to an audience. Imxxd17 (talk) 01:17, 27 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
