Thank you Ratnahastin for your feedback. Is the problem the nature and number of sources themselves? Or is it more a matter of adding more citations in the text to refer to those sources? The sources themselves are published biographies of the general and others serving with him as well as the most reliable source on the IIAF itself- its website. Thanks again! Note - the site has a very clear copyright notice on the bottom of the page. If the author really is okay with releasing the material under a suitably free license, then you need to have them follow the instructions for donating material to Wikipedia. In the meantime, I have prepared a rewritten and rephrased article that is not so close to the article, but it does not allow me to publish the changes. Would it be possible for me to be permitted to publish these for review? I believe that this rephrased version with the proper referencing and attribution would meet your guidelines.
