Important Notice

[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in post-1992 politics of the United States and closely related people. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! — Newslinger talk 05:29, 23 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Project Veritas, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Thank you. — Newslinger talk 02:32, 24 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I did make a reason in the summary. It was four or five sentences long IC89 (talk) 05:07, 24 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Your edit at Special:Diff/1013894478 was unconstructive because it deleted reliably sourced content against the consensus on the talk page. The edit summary did not contain a valid interpretation of Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Feel free to continue the talk page discussion at Talk:Project Veritas § Why is this locked?. — Newslinger talk 10:57, 24 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
