FAA addition to CHicago Spire

[edit]

That's a great page you found - http://www.faa.gov/airports_airtraffic/air_traffic/publications/atpubs/AIR/air0601.html. However the content you added into the article is misleading. You stated buildings over 2,000 feet aren't allowed - but the reference states they are if the "sponsor" "makes a clear and compelling showing" that the structure is not "a hazard to air navigation", it can be approved. It might be cool if you could reword this and put it back in. My only concern is that the text wasn't consistent with the reference. Chupper 03:23, 22 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Hyperion924!

[edit]

Great job with this week's photo additions. I am going to try to get Lakeshore East and all its buildings. I can't figure out how to get a good shot of the whole thing. You might want to give it a shot.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTM) 20:25, 28 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

GAR debate on buildings under construction

[edit]

You are an editor of Chicago Spire with at least 10 edits on the article. There is currently a debate regarding the propriety of whether buildings under construction should be eligible to be GAs at Wikipedia:Good article reassessment/Trump International Hotel and Tower (Chicago)/1.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTM) 03:25, 5 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for uploading images/media to Wikipedia! There is, however, another Wikimedia Foundation project called Wikimedia Commons, a central media repository for all free media. In the future, please consider creating an account and uploading your media there instead. That way, all of the other language Wikipedias can use them too, as well as our many sister projects. This will also allow our visitors to search for, view and use our media in one central location. If you wish to move previous uploads to Commons, see Wikipedia:Moving images to the Commons (you may view images you have previously uploaded by going to your user contributions on the left and choosing the 'image' namespace from the drop down box). Please note that non-free content, such as images claimed as fair use, cannot be uploaded to the Wikimedia Commons. Help us spread the word about Commons by informing other users, and please continue uploading! --Cryonic07 talk ° contribs 17:07, 26 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on IA Collaborative, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Falcon8765 (TALK) 02:03, 21 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Waterview Tower in Chicago Updates

[edit]

Hi Ryan, my name is Britta and I work for R2integrated, which has been hired by the new owners of Waterview Tower, to do their digital marketing.. I noticed you have previously edited Chicago’s Waterview Tower Wikipedia page. We found this page is currently out of date, so I have suggested some updates on the talk page, since I cannot edit directly because of my COI. Is there any way you could review our edits, give us any necessary feedback and help us get this page up to date? Thank you! You can view our suggested edits on the Waterview Tower talk page: http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Talk:Waterview_Tower Britta Nissen — Preceding undated comment added 15:50, 26 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 150 North Riverside Chicago, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page LEED. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
