Publication of the page in Spanish
Hi,
Thank you for your help. I am actually a professional translator (English-French-Spanish)and I also work in the Biblioteca Cervantina. My translation for this page has been reviewed.
I translated the page into Spanish but I cannot publish it... I tried to create the article but the title would be Biblioteca Cervantina, which is already used for the English version. The English version should be Cervantine Library but I cannot change it.
The page in Spanish should look like that: Could you please help me figuring that out? Our publish the page yourself?
Many many thanks in advance. — Preceding unsigned comment added by MelissaduTEC (talk • contribs) 22:11, 3 March 2016
- Hello, MelissaduTEC. I appreciate what you're trying to do, but you're not quite in the right place. Each language's Wikipedia is separate and as this is the English Wikipedia, wiki.riteme.site, it should only include pages written in English. The Spanish-language version of this page should go here, at Spanish Wikipedia, es.wikipedia.org. I'm afraid my Spanish skills are best described as "nonexistent"; if you need help with Spanish Wikipedia, I'd suggest asking at the Spanish Wikipedia help desk, here. As for the English language title, I think you're right, it should probably be at Cervantine Library. I'll move the page shortly; your account is too new to do that. I hope this makes things more clear. Howicus (Did I mess up?) 22:26, 3 March 2016 (UTC)

Gladys Hobby, wiki women of science pageHi Howicus, The wiki entry for Gladys Hobby is a stub, and that section where I placed her was for expanding stubs of well-documented women, rather than for women lacking a wiki page. Her entry is no longer than the entries for the two women about her and omits details of her contributions. She was an important scientist who was instrumental in producing penicillin for human use and is in the National Museum of Women's History for her contributions. She also was a developer of streptomycin. None of that was in the wiki article, nor was she even listed in the women of science wiki. Thanks for the welcome. Francis Brunn editSorry about the inappropriate edit on the Francis Brunn page. I knew Francis between 1982 thru 1995 when we lost touch. I was also a circus performer but my career was ended by an injury in 1987. I just wanted to add a little to the fabulous legacy of a truly great artist. Francis wasn't just a Juggler. He was a dancer, acrobat and performer whose energy was extraordinary; he even stole my car once but I wouldn't put that on wikipedia. As a teacher at the Big Apple Circus school I taught with his sister Lottie who was his first assistant and juggler in her own right. I often grilled Francis about all things circus (he was a walking variety arts encyclopedia) and his technique for getting 10 rings into the air was one of our conversations. I just wanted to clarify that Francis claimed to be the first to juggle 10 rings and explain his innovations. I used to do the news at WBAI, the Pacifica affiliate in NYC so I understand the need for accuracy and attribution. If I write about Francis on my website, using my name, would that work as a proper reference? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.14.98.125 (talk) 19:38, 25 March 2016 (UTC)

It's your choiceThe editing interface will be changed soon. When that happens, editors who currently see two editing tabs – "Edit" and "Edit source" – will start seeing one edit tab instead. The single edit tab has been popular at other Wikipedias. When this is deployed here, you may be offered the opportunity to choose your preferred appearance and behavior the next time you click the Edit button. You will also be able to change your settings in the Editing section of Special:Preferences.
You can choose one or two edit tabs. If you chose one edit tab, then you can switch between the two editing environments by clicking the buttons in the toolbar (shown in the screenshots). Editing Wikipedia can be disheartening and tedious at times; the weekly Editor of the Week award lets its recipients know that their positive behaviour and collaborative spirit is appreciated. The response from the honorees has been enthusiastic and thankful. The list of nominees is running short, and so new nominations are needed for consideration. Have you come across someone in your editing circle who deserves a pat on the back for improving article prose regularly, making it easier to understand? Or perhaps someone has stepped in to mediate a contentious dispute, and did an excellent job. Do you know someone who hasn't received many accolades and is deserving of greater renown? Since July there has been a very serious backlog at Special:NewPagesFeed of over 14,000 pages, by far the worst since 2011, and we need an all out drive to get this back down to just a few hundred that can be easily maintained in the future. Unlike AfC, these pages are already in mainspace, and the thought of what might be there is quite scary. There are also many good faith article creators who need a simple, gentle push to the Tea House or their pages converted to Draft rather than being deleted. Although New Page Reviewing can occasionally be somewhat more challenging than AfC, the criteria for obtaining the right are roughly the same. The Page Curation tool is even easier to use than the Helper Script, so it's likely that most AfC reviewers already have more than enough knowledge for the task of New Page Review. It is hoped that AfC reviewers will apply for this right at WP:PERM and lend a hand. You'll need to have read the page at WP:NPR and the new tutorial. Mostly inspired by music, human emotions and the detailed elements the great work of perpetual validity of nature in front of his eyes. He is considered fundamentally an “abstract, semi-abstract or neo-figurative” painter. Nevertheless in some occasions, when he got inspired by a social happening, a personal experience, a philosophical thinking or a reflection that requires some figurative elements in order for him to express it, he have never hesitated in using forms that are perfectly recognizable derived from real life more than his own imagination. He gives himself the freedom of doing whatever comes to his mind in his wide technique’s spectrum and that’s the key of his liberation as a creator. He plays with colors like a child plays with colors, in a conscious manner but following his impulses and feelings. He is most interested in the abstract elements of the form than the form itself; the fact of the matter is that in any painted realistic object, countryside or portrait, you need to put together a great number of abstract sectors to achieve them, and those sectors in his perspective are more interesting than the results. Through his own plastic paint technique he have found the perfect medium to express the vast majority of his ideas. Since his youth the abstract expressionists of the New York School have influenced Josignacio; however, Karel Appel and Wassily Kandinsky have had a special focus. He uses the Jackson Pollock’s dripping technique very often also. In his childhood Josignacio had been more motivated by color than by forms, a distinguishing factor in his artwork. Plastic Paint Medium technique Plastic Paint Medium is a painting technique created by Artist Josignacio in Havana City, Cuba in 1984; this technique consists of the use of epoxy resins (any of a class of resins derived by polymerization from epoxies: used essentially in adhesives, coatings, and castings) as an "agglutinating medium" and "pigments" as colorants, obtaining as a result of a real plastic finish with a new visual effect. It has said was new because until that moment was almost impossible to obtain such shining, hardens, transparency, and real 3D effects with the conventional known mediums, and no one have had ever used the epoxy painting pigmented to make or finish a whole painting. Epoxy resin was used before 1984 in art as a varnish, to glue stuff on collages or to make some kind of sculptural objects. This is the most versatile medium for painters. Josignacio’s first completed painting with this mixing was a neo figurative depiction of a human face. Plastic Paint Medium it is not water based neither water-soluble, its drying or curing time is approximately six hours, depending on some factors such humidity, temperature or amount of pigment added to mix. Plastic Paint Medium is very resistant to the corrosive effects of weathering and an excellent blocker against the devastating UV's rays.

What do you think now??? This is better or good to post on Josignacio's wall? lol, this is very far from easy. Stylistic Analysis Josignacio is best known for his abstractions [1], since his firsts days as a creator, colors most than forms and his connectivity with them, the free impulse of the subconscious mind to apply them on his canvasses, have been the lighting guide, his life motive, a constant key of all his creations. Mostly inspired by music, strong human emotions[2] and the detailed elements of the nature in front of his eyes. The genetic or DNA of his executions generally consists of a careful combination of close-up images of the deep-sea flora and fauna [3], fossil[4] rocks, outer space and subtly organic materials fantasized by colors. Through color he does mostly express himself. Forms are secondary elements in his paintings in spite of sometimes he uses “fusiform forms” either to encapsulate or unwrap them. Regardless he is considered fundamentally an “abstract, semi-abstract or neo-figurative” painter, his playing with realistic forms inserted in his abstractions is something very often seen, especially in his “Dualism [5] Series” which consist in just that; two elements depicting one motive or theme in the same painting. Example of that series are “El Siete” (The Seven), in which is very clear a number seven on top of a green-orange background close to a very abstract number seven in permanent green and blacks and the “3 o’clock” which depicted an abstract clock in a monochromatic[6] use of greens contrasting with a figurative and rigid clock hands in deep red. Nevertheless in some occasions, when he got inspired by a social happening, a personal experience, a philosophical thinking or a reflection that requires only figurative elements in order for him to express it, he have never hesitated in using forms that are perfectly recognizable derived from real life more than his own imagination. He gives himself the freedom of doing whatever comes to his mind in his wide technique’s creative spectrum and that’s the key of his freedom as a creator. He plays with colors like a child plays with colors, in a conscious manner but following his impulses and feelings. He is most interested in the abstract elements of the form than the form itself; the fact of the matter is that in any painted realistic object, countryside or portrait, you need to put together a great number of abstract sectors to achieve them, and those sectors in his perspective, are more interesting than the results. Through his own plastic paint technique he have found the perfect medium to express the vast majority of his ideas. Since his youth the abstract expressionists of the New York School like Willem de Kooning, James Brooks, Robert Motherwell, have influenced Josignacio, however, Karel Appel and the use of the whole canvas to put just one or two figures in it with just few brush strokes of warm colors mixed with cool colors and black and Wassily Kandinsky circle series and a specific painting titled “Improvisation. Deluge” dated 1913, has had a special focus. He uses very often also Jackson Pollock’s dripping technique but in a very controlled way. All these elements combined with his own technique’s characteristics are the responsible in defining Josignacio’s art. All these abstract painters have had influenced me more than my Cuban compatriots, because the abstractionism in my country is more based on Picasso’s cubism than their energetic and expressive brushstrokes gesturalism. He said. Composition and color balance comes naturally. The use of one of primary colors[7] such as red and his complementary green are almost a constant fight in which the color black acts as a mediator between them.
