[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not replace pages with blank content, as you did with this edit to List of iTunes LP albums, as this is confusing to readers. The page's content has been restored for now. If there is a problem with the page, it should be edited or reverted to a previous version if possible; if you think the page should be removed entirely, see further information. Thank you. I have removed the list of LPs from the article. See the talk page for discussion, and for an earlier consensus. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 17:42, 28 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, it's the first time I discuss with someone on Wikipedia, I don't really know how it works. So, can you explain me why you delete the iTunes LP list ? Hooltra (talk) 18:11, 28 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • No problem--no apology necessary. Look on Talk:ITunes LP. You'll find an argument from last year, with a consensus, which was followed by this edit (which was subsequently undone without a valid reason). The talk page is where such matters related to the article are discussed, and that's where consensus for certain edits should be sought.

There was, in fact, a proposal there--to organize this information via categories (see, for instance, Category:Albums), but I'm not sure how that would work in this case. (You could fire up the discussion there, and ask the two other editors to weigh in.) Judging from the references supplied with the article, I am not convinced that it is important enough to warrant either a listing or a category, but that's just my opinion. You could drop a line at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Music, or maybe at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Apple Inc..

Look, I'm sorry I had to undo your work, and I understand how you feel. I hope that the talk page and a link to some of our policies (esp. WP:NOTDIR) will help you see why. Good luck, and let me know if I can help. Drmies (talk) 18:32, 28 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2022 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2022 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:12, 29 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
