Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Melcous (talk) 02:31, 8 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add soapboxing, promotional or advertising material to Wikipedia, as you did at Holy Face of Jesus, you may be blocked from editing. Theroadislong (talk) 11:59, 8 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

There have been two problems with this account: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group, which is also against policy, as an account must be for just one person. Because of those problems, the account has been blocked indefinitely from editing.

If you intend to make useful contributions about some topic other than your business or organisation, you may request an unblock. To do so, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:CentralAuth to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In this reason, you must:

  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Sarahj2107 (talk) 13:09, 8 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

This is not a spam account. I wanted to contribute to Wiki for the benefit of others by providing information about the newest UK website for a Christian devotion. Indeed a website that is no-profit, doesn't accept donations or have any pop-ups, ad-sense etc. I thought it would be fine to choose a user name of my own free will rather than a name unrelated to my interests for the purposes of deception. Please unblock my personal account or tell me how to close my account. I had no idea that any Wiki members could block (at their will) genuine attempts to share useful information for religious devotional topics, without any position of office. Also with regards to the member that accused me of "soap-boxing" - this hadn't crossed my mind and I had to look it up. Maybe they should think before making incorrect accusations that speak volumes about their own (narcissistic) personality - that are totally lost on those they attempt to insult or offend (in vain). Thank you in advance and please remember the 'ethos' of Wiki is for individuals like myself to freely share and contribute valuable information with others, without being closed down with a Gestapo like response just because a username reflects one's own interests. Decline reason:

Wikipedia is not an advertising platform to get the word out about new websites. See WP:WEB and WP:CORP. OhNoitsJamie Talk 22:07, 29 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
