WikiProject Final Fantasy
Hey, Hibana. I've noticed you've contributed a fair amount to Final Fantasy-related pages recently, so I wanted to draw your attention to the new WikiProject Final Fantasy and invite you to take part. If you're willing, just mosey on over to the talk page and sign up. – Seancdaug July 6, 2005 03:55 (UTC)
Final Fantasy VII terms
Hmm... Offhand I'd say to go with Mako over either Materia or the Lifestream. But I can see a case for Materia, also. Have you asked around on the FF project talk page for others' opinions? – Seancdaug 01:59, July 13, 2005 (UTC)
Seiken Densetsu 3
I address this message to both LichYoshi and Hibana. First, I would like to suggest that you guys created an User page. It is an important part of your identity within the Wikipedia. Second, given yours and my interest on Seiken Densetsu 3, I was considering the idea of maybe taking the article to Featured status? It is not by any means an easy task, but it is possible to accomplish. It will take some dedication and a lot of patience from us all, since editing will have to be mercyless, at times overriding the decision one of us made, but I think it's possible to be pulled off. How do you guys feel about this idea? In case the answer is affirmative, please reply within the SD3 Talk page, as it will make communication easier. Best regards. --Sn0wflake 22:07, 19 July 2005 (UTC)
Good luck!
This might be a bit late (but I just read your message on the WikiProject). Good luck for your finals :D — CuaHL 10:52, 7 August 2005 (UTC)

Final Fantasy VI character articles
Thanks for the heads up. While I think he has a point, and understand the desire to consolidate information, I'm really not comfortable with the way he's going about it. I think eliminating individual character articles is a worthwhile long term goal, but it was my intention to move the information to more appropriate sources, like the FF Wiki, which can't really be done if the articles are deleted. – Seancdaug 03:29, 15 October 2005 (UTC)
Userpage redirect
Just out of curiosity, why does your user page redirect to the Main Page? Andre (talk) 00:06, 19 October 2005 (UTC)
Altima Edit
Thanks for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and has been removed or reverted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thanks.
I do not know if you did this intentionally, but by changing the Altima to a redirect, you actually removed content from Wikipedia, since Altima/St. Ajora has not yet been added to the list of Final Fantasy Tactics Characters. I have therefore reverted your change.139.78.10.1 00:30, 8 November 2005 (UTC)
About the Altima Article
I was thinking that Altima should get a separate page, though based on your comment, I see this is in doubt. I believe that there is some specific information about Altima that does not also fit Ajora (such as the translation error). I think that information would seem somewhat out of place on the character list, since Lucavi characters are given a single entry with their human hosts and being listed by human (which would cause Altima to be listed as Ajora). True, Ajora does belong on the character list, but does information specifically related to Altima belong there as well? 139.78.10.1 18:07, 8 November 2005 (UTC)
Altima redirect update
Looks like JiFish had the same idea you did about making Altima a redirect. Since there seems to be some sort of agreement that this is what should be done, based on this and the Final Fantasy project talk page, I will leave the Altima article (now a redirect as you had intended) alone. Ajora has apparently been added to character list. Sorry about the test1, your actions clearly did not warrant it. 139.78.120.21 15:22, 9 November 2005 (UTC)
Did someone say Megaman?
I noticed an edit of yours on the history page for Cerveru in the List of MegaMan Zero characters, and I scoped out your userpage in curiosity; I noticed one of your intrests was Megaman. Of course, as a MM fanatic, I couldn't help but be interested-what do you think of the megaman articles on wikipedia...?-MegamanZero 21:08 25,November 2005 (UTC)
- Its nice to hear constructive critisisim- may I ask what's wrong with the standardization of the articles...? And if you need someone to talk to about reguarly editing the articles, that would be me; I check and edit them just about everyday. Speaking of which, I was the one who created all of the character page links as well as being responsible for the boss characters page and the articles cateregory listing as a whole. The oringinal megaman Zero page used to look like this: [[1]], but knowing that wasns't sufficent for the megaman Zero series alone, I began doing a huge overhall on the article by myself turning it into this: [[2]], eventually, I kept working on it, now aided with minor edits from other users, until it became this. So we've come quite a long way. Right now, I'm finished with my drafts for character histories and anaylisis's and will finish up the MZ4 section on the Boss character page.-MegamanZero 21:29 25,November 2005 (UTC)
- In the near future, I will also do a huge overhall to the X series characters page as well.-MegamanZero 21:29 25,November 2005 (UTC)
- I see. (Cracks knuckles) Well, the classic series is where it all began, correct..? I've taken a look at the classic articles and I have to say I agree with you. Though I never really liked the original series from a gameplay standpoint, I am well versed in the games, characters and storyline. I'll overhall the articles for you to conform to a quality equal to the Zero series. As for the battle Network spinoff, that's pretty much done-Me and Wolf ODonnell overhalled those articles awhile ago; see my articles on Style Change and Soul Unison and tell me your opinion.-MegamanZero 21:54 25,November 2005 (UTC)
- Agreed. Tell me when you're ready to start so we can begin together; as the old saying goes, "Many hands make the work go faster" (or something like that).-MegamanZero 22:00 25, November 2005 (UTC)
I'm registered now (Altima incident guy).
It's me (from the Altima incident). I've registered now, I and finally figured out how to get rid of vandal warnings that were erroneously sent. I have scratched it out (see above). Sorry about the mess (and the delay in getting rid of that Test1). Roy Al Blue 20:51, 1 December 2005 (UTC)
The whole point of the omnislashing article is the term's use outside of the Final Fantasy games. As this isn't dealt with in Cloud Strife, nor is it appropriate for that article, I've reverted your redirect. Please leave me a talk message should you disagree. — ceejayoz talk 02:10, 2 December 2005 (UTC)
MegaMan Battle Networks
Hello, I noticed that on MM BN 2 you indicated that the tone of the article was not formal enough. However, you didn't leave a note on the talk page so I am afraid I am not sure what, in particular, you find to be informal. Other than the chip lists, I don't see much wrong (but then again, since I wrote most of it I probably wouldn't). If you could let everyone know, that would be wonderful. Thank you. Thought 20:55, 5 December 2005 (UTC)
- I believe what Hibana is infering to, is indeed the chip listing; that information is much more suited for Gamefaqs, my friend. Furthurmore, I was the one who had reverted in the past when you made the list, concerning its "messiness", which you did, indeed correct, however, the chip information is 'stat info, which does not contribute overall to the article. However, I will link the MMN 2 page to the List of Mega Man weapons section detailing Battle chips, which should be more efficent. Speaking of which, Hibana, could you take a look at my finished article and give me your humble opinion..? Thank you. -MegamanZero 23:42 5,December 2005 (UTC)

Legend of the Holy Sword.
As far as I know 'Legend of the Holy Sword' is a correct (albeit not a literal) translation of 'Seiken Densetsu'. Mind if I ask you why you removed it, Hibana? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.201.197.104 (talk • contribs)

Image placement vote
Hello, it's MegamanZero, and I've gotten into a conflict with the Orgy over his needless image placement and excessive quotes on the Iori Yagami page. So, I've decided to hold a vote (like on the Ryu charaacter page) concerning which version should be used. The vote can be found here. Please vote your opinion on the matter and thanks for your time! -MegamanZero 18:03, 13 December 2005 (UTC)

Merge
I started mering the Magi and Magitek articles to the FF6 story section a bit, but it's going to be difficult to balance between too much detail and too little detail. It's a start, though. Deckiller 01:24, 15 December 2005 (UTC)

Anomynous message
First off, I did not come here to critique you in any way or form. I simply need a question fulfilled. To start, why did you edit out the segment on X-Play, and call it bias? I wasn't down-grading the show if that's what you think. If you would of taken time to read it, I stated that the assumption that 'M' rated games get the best ratings, was inconsistent. I have heard time and time again, from forums and elsewhere, that X-Play is guilty of this ill-omen, and I was setting the facts straight. Wikipedia is everyone's encyclopedia. Just because you see something that doesn't please you, doesn't mean you can edit it out, and call it bias. If I accidentally made it sound like that, forgive me. All in all, please put something clearing this whole mess up, for people are driving me insane, talking about their rating system!
P.S. I deeply respect your love of Megaman, and especially Castlevania. (and yes, you!) -—Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.96.11.37 (talk • contribs)

Kefka Palazzo
Hello Hibana! Just checking on the edits to the Kefka Palazzo entry on the FFVI characters page: curious on your thoughts since you edited them: Gestahl makes a remark on the Floating Continent that Kefka and Celes were given life to serve him - still too much of a stretch for the Kefka/Celes~brother/sister concept to work? Sorry is this was the wrong way to post this...still getting my feet wet with the whole show.
Cheers! -King Jowy
A barnstar for you!
Hey, Hibana. Just wanted to let you know that your name probably shows up more than anyone else's on my watchlist, and that, without your ceaseless vigilance on CVG-related articles, Wikipedia would be a much messier and fancrufty place (and, frankly, Wikipedia needs more dedicated categorizers). With that in mind, I would like to award you with this Tireless Contributor Barnstar. It's well deserved! – Seancdaug 02:51, 13 January 2006 (UTC)
Materia
Hey Hibana. Good to see you around whipping articles into shape. Quick question, though - do you think the Black/White Materia sections really need that much plot info that doesn't immediately pertain to defining what Black and White materia are? I know FF7's been out for years, but who knows - someone out there just might not have played it yet :P I didn't want to go behind your back and edit out the stuff you put in, but if you take a look you might realize it doesn't require quite so many spoilers. Just a thought :) TKarrde 10:01, 14 January 2006 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with Image:Chrono_Trigger_Janus.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Chrono_Trigger_Janus.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

- I simply neglected to include the promotional template in the licensing section of the image file. I've switched it, and if it's still a problem, you may want to address this issue with all the other Chrono Trigger character images, because they all hold the same copyright status. ~ Hibana 02:39, 22 January 2006 (UTC)

Final Fantasy spin-offs
Well, to be honest I didn't really think about it when I linked to Mystic Quest, and didn't bother to really check the link. But I suppose that, technically speaking, neither it nor Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles are actually written with a colon, so they probably should not presented with one in the article title. It's a fairly minor point, though, as far as these things go. As for Final Fantasy Adventure, yeah, I've seen it written both with and without the definite article. Frankly, I think there's enough ambiguity that it makes sense to leave it out of the actual title, at least (since naming conventions are somewhat ambivalent on the subject to begin with). Final Fantasy Legend is another matter, and there may be a case to be made for moving it to The Final Fantasy Legend, providing we have all the appropriate redirects in place to avoid confusion. – Seancdaug 01:27, 27 January 2006 (UTC)

I need your help
Hi Hibana. I know you're a big wikipedian and know all the rules and stuff. I don't know if you've noticed but there is a non registered user who keeps adding POV, wrong information, and uncited edits to the pages Rufus Shinra and Turks (Final Fantasy VII). For days I've been tring to contact him through edit comments and multiple edits to his talk page, but I'm getting no response. Its to the point of vandalism and I think he's just getting kicks out of it. I know you're not a moderator or admin, but you are a member of the FF Wikiproject and I'm looking for 3rd party intervention. I would try and have him blocked but I'm not sure how. Can you help? or just point me in the right direction to fix this? Spencer 02:12, 2 February 2006 (UTC)

Final Fantasy VIII response
I've added perhaps no more than 10-12 edits in a period of 3-4 weeks. How does this equate with the notion of continuous addition? Please do not try to use chop-logic in masking the fact that you and you repertoire have engaged in systematic de-neutralization of numerous topics on this site to match your personal beliefs and opinions. I finally thought it proper to register and see about bringing this problem to the surface. ~ Vost 13:02, 3 February 2006 (PST)

Mega Man skills
Hello, Hibana. I'm working on a project right now, and I was wondering if I could inquire for your asistance. It's here, and as you'll see, its quite a bit of a list. I noticed you're an avid fan of the classic series, and I was hoping you'd assist in the repetitive task of filling in the tables for the Mega Man classsic section. It'd be really helpful and much appreciated. Feel free to leave any questions or comments regarding the article on my talkapge or the article's talkpage, respectively. -ZeroTalk 22:15, 3 February 2006 (UTC)
- I see. Well, I'm not too comfortable with making it an article as of yet. The entire list of Classic Mega Man skills has yet to be filled in, and I find that quite unacceptable. I'm working on this laborous task as we speak, and it would be grand to have a bit of help. Thank you for the reply as well. -ZeroTalk 22:26, 3 February 2006 (UTC)

MobyGames
I do not think the MobyGames links count as linkspam. I would be interested to hear your thoughts.
Wikipedia:External_links specifically
- Sites that contain neutral and accurate material not already in the article. Ideally this content should be integrated into the Wikipedia article, then the link would remain as a reference.
- Sites with other meaningful, relevant content that is not suitable for inclusion in an article, such as textbooks or reviews.
My rationale is credits, extensive cover art and screenshots
As always your opinions/comments are welcome. --Flipkin 17:47, 8 March 2006 (UTC)
