Era styles
[edit]We have a guideline on this at WP:ERA which we ask editors to follow. I reverted you because your edit was against our guideline. No problem so long as you follow our guideline in the future now that you know about it. Doug Weller talk 15:35, 21 September 2016 (UTC)
Hello - the article was not internally consistent, using "BC" in some places and "BCE" in others. What does the style guide say about that.
Rae Carruth
[edit]Per MOS:OPENPARABIO, the opening is to establish notability. Rae Carruth's notability is as a former NFL player that put a hit out on his girlfriend and spent 18 years in person for it. Therefore it is appropriate and necessary to include him being known as a criminal in the opening. I'm open to different wording but the same basic premise needs to be kept.--Rockchalk717 18:50, 22 October 2018 (UTC)
- It needs to fit standards for openings and that's not it. The "former American football player" part is fine. If anything is changed it needs to be just the "American Criminal" part only.--Rockchalk717 19:18, 22 October 2018 (UTC)
July 2022
[edit]Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living (or recently deceased) persons, as you did to Linda Cohn. WP:DOB is about as serious a WP:BLP violation as there is. Toddst1 (talk) 00:41, 5 July 2022 (UTC)
- Not sure what you're referring to friend. I just edited grammatical mistakes. Herodotus419 (talk) 03:38, 7 July 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited KOI-4878.01, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Space velocity. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Just an FYI if you haven't seen it
[edit]At More Cowbell: SNL also has guest writers. The source used in the body clearly states that it was written by Will Ferrell and his playwright friend Donnie Campbell. Per WP:CITELEAD, citations in the lead that verifies what is already verified in the body are not needed. Spinixster (trout me!) 03:20, 19 July 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm JMVR1. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Harambe, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners.
