By what standard do you judge stupidity? If you count the terms upon which people search, you will find that they search for "stupid" things because they want to understand their meaning. Would it be more stupid to ignore the search logs and deny people access to the information they seek? 1of3 09:54, 16 October 2007 (UTC)
- Search logs you say? I was not aware Wikipedia made search logs or published them publicly. Please cite your sources! -Henry W. Schmitt 17:53, 16 October 2007 (UTC)
- They used to make all the logs available on a toolserver database for querying, but that was disabled for performance reasons. My understanding is that they turn that back on from time to time, usually for debugging, but these days they only let people access statistics culled from snapshots of a fraction of the logs taken ever 15 minutes, called Wikicharts. Last month's top-twenty, along with my guess about whether you think they are stupid:

- Looks like, by my guess, the top-20 is more than half stupid. 1of3 22:01, 16 October 2007 (UTC)
- Thank you for taking your time to create this wonderful table. I copied it and started relabeling it to fit my views, but once complete I noticed I had a "yes" on every single one. If you are including Luciano Pavarotti as not stupid, you must not consider his fellow musician 50 Cent stupid. I was going to label some of those animes as stupid, but if Heroes stays so do they. Of course Harry Potter, one of the best selling franchises of literature in the history of printing are not stupid; I am thrilled that books beat video games and music.--Henry W.
