Thank you for your recent contributions, such as Vasily Innokentyevich Davydov. Getting started creating new articles on Wikipedia can be tricky, and you might like to try creating a draft of your article in draftspace or in your userspace first, which you can then ask for feedback on if necessary, with less risk of deletion. Do make sure you also read help available to you, including Your First Article and the Tutorial. You might also like to try the Article Wizard, which has an option to create a draft version. Thank you. Leonidlednev (TCL) 15:29, 24 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Women in Red

[edit]

Hi there, Hectorinaaa, and welcome to Women in Red. I see you have already created several biographies of historical women and hope there will be many more. In this connection, you might find it useful to look through our Primer. If you would like others to see your interest in the project, you can sign up under "New registrations" on Wikipedia:WikiProject Women in Red/New members.

I have noticed that some of your biographies appear to be based in part on articles in other versions of Wikipedia. In such cases, it is important to ensure attribution in accordance with Help:Translation. Please let me know if you run into any difficulties or need assistance. Happy editing!--Ipigott (talk) 09:39, 18 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Notability criteria

[edit]

Hi there, I thought I'd give you a heads up about WP:BIO (notability criteria for people) as one of the articles you've created may well be flagged for deletion. I don't want you to waste time and be disappointed.

Minor royals may not meet notability criteria, especially when they died before old enough to have achievements of their own. Note that "trivial coverage of a subject by secondary sources is not usually sufficient to establish notability". I would think that mention of birth and death dates alone are likely to be regarded as trivial mentions. The rest of notability criteria relate to achievements and similar, someone who died very young like Berengaria of England is unlikely to meet these.
