WP:FILMS Welcome
Hey, welcome to WikiProject Films! We're a group of editors working to improve Wikipedia's coverage of films and film characters. If you haven't already, please add {{User WikiProject Films}} to your user page.
A few features that you might find helpful:
- Most of our important discussions about the project itself and its related articles take place on the project's main discussion page; it is highly recommended that you watchlist it.
- The project has a monthly newsletter. The newsletter for November has been published. December's issue is currently in production; it will be delivered as a link, but several other formats are available.
There is a variety of interesting things to do within the project; you're free to participate however much—or little—you like:
- Want to jump right into editing? The style guidelines show things you should include.
- Want to assist in some current backlogs within the project? Visit the Announcements template to see how you can help.
- Want to know how good our articles are? Our assessment department has rated the quality of every film article in Wikipedia. Check it out!
- Want to collaborate on articles? The Cinema Collaboration of the Week picks an article every week to work on together.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask another fellow member, and we'll be happy to help you. Again, welcome! We look forward to seeing you around! Nehrams2020 (talk) 08:50, 26 December 2007 (UTC)

Wikicrimes
Sorry, I was creating a article about my project wiki that me and my professor are doing called wikicrimes (www.wikicrimes.org), and I was editing somethings when it has been deleted. Anyway I am going to write all article first and try to format with pattern wikipedia, and later post it, it was my first article. --Dobau (talk) 18:53, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
- It has not yet been deleted, so you are still free to place the {{hangon}} template on the page and contest the deletion. Sorry if I jumped the gun a bit in tagging it for deletion, though I notice it has now been deleted. Really sorry for the late reply, as well, I've been very busy with no time to check wikipedia recently.--Hazel77 (talk) 15:09, 13 February 2008 (UTC)

CSD:A7
Hi. :) I came across your speedy deletion tag on Sattam Oru Iruttarai, and I just wanted to point out to you that {{db-a7}} is specifically for people (individually or grouped) and websites. There is currently no consensus for speedily deleting other articles types under this criterion. Other articles that fail to assert notability should go through proposed deletion or articles for deletion. Thanks for keeping an eye out on article quality. :) --Moonriddengirl (talk) 13:00, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
- Oops, my mistake. I didn't think it was notable (Probably wrong there as well :P) and it slipped my mind that the criterion wasn't appropriate, I'll remember that for next time.--Hazel77 talk 13:29, 28 August 2008 (UTC)

WHAT IS WRONG WITH MY ARTICLE?!?!
You recently speedy deleted my article myminicity. Please tell me whats wrong with it. You can find it under User:Nurasko/myminicity NuraskoTalk page
- As I said on the talkpage of that article this morning: You need to give evidence of notability (i.e. Why it it warrants a place on wikipedia.--Hazel77 talk 22:48, 5 November 2008 (UTC)
- I understand why you deleted the article, but now the user page? Why should the USER PAGE be deleted? User pages can be used like sand boxes. This page should NOT be deleted user:nurasko/myminicity, Click Here To Go To The Discussion & Click Here to watch the page. NuraskoTalk page 21:15, 10 November 2008 (UTC)
- The page is a recreation of deleted material. Wikipedia is not your web host and while you are welcome to use your userpage as a development ground for articles in-progress, it is not meant for long-term storage. I nominated it for deletion as there have been no attempts to improve it since it was originally created and you had not respond to my messages regarding the article's issues.--Hazel77 talk 21:45, 10 November 2008 (UTC)
- It should also be noted that recreating the same page in more than one place does not make it more likely to be kept.--Hazel77 talk 21:48, 10 November 2008 (UTC)

WP:FILMS Questionnaire
As a member of WikiProject Films, you are invited to take part in the project's first questionnaire. It is intended to gauge your participation and views on the project. At the conclusion of the questionnaire, the project's coordinators will use the gathered feedback to find new ways to improve the project and reach out to potential members. The results of the questionnaire will be published in next month's newsletter. If you know of any editors who have edited film articles in the past, please invite them to take part in the questionnaire. Please stop by and take a few minutes to answer the questions so that we can continue to improve our project. Happy editing!

Speedy deletion converted to PROD: 5 Girls
Hello Hazel77. I am just letting you know that I have converted the speedy deletion tag that you placed on 5 Girls to a proposed deletion tag, because I do not believe CSD applies to the page in question. Thank you. Ale_Jrbtalk 11:30, 7 June 2010 (UTC)
- OK, that is a reasonable change. I believe it was a borderline case and it is probably true that a PROD is more appropriate. Thank you for letting me know.--Hazel77 talk 13:32, 7 June 2010 (UTC)
A little TOO speedy deletion
- If I remember correctly, the page was blanked by the author. My understanding is that that made it an appropriate candidate for speedy deletion?--Hazel77 talk 14:26, 5 January 2011 (UTC)
- Ah. Then the police officer will tip his hat and pull away after wishing you a cordial good day. ElijahBosley (talk ☞) 20:29, 5 January 2011 (UTC)

Ray Lesniak
Senator Lesniak has come under fire by critics who cite his control over widespread political corruption in New Jersey as one of the state's top three 'power brokers' on the Democratic side of the aisle. He was profiled in a 1986 Bergen Record article entitled "The Politics of Greed" and he admitted that he is a power broker in a 2005 interview with Asbury Park Press reporter Kathleen Hopkins. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.46.70.19 (talk) 19:23, 4 January 2011 (UTC)
- Be that as it may, it does not make Wikipedia a suitable repository for links related to political campaigns. We do not judge the "worthiness" of the causes, merely whether or not it is suitable for inclusion in the article.
- Personally, I do not hold Senator Lesniak in particularly high regard but neither my, nor anyone else's, opinion is not a suitable basis on which to write an article. Wikipedia does not have a political bias.
- If you wish to include some of your information in that article then you should discuss it on the talk page, making sure you have multiple accurate and reliable third-party sources but it does not justify a link to an external campaign.--Hazel77 talk 21:35, 4 January 2011 (UTC)
Thanks, Hazel... I would encourage you to expand the page according to Wiki standards (I will try to put something together but I don't know what time I can put into "it). You mentioned 'I do not hold Senator Lesniak in particularly high regard' -- Are you in NJ? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.46.70.19 (talk) 17:38, 12 January 2011 (UTC)
Ugardanti Article
Hello Sir you affixed these two templates on Ugardanti article. I Could add more referenced data in that. but i am not getting what your templeates is all about. I am new to wikipedia and wrote a bit, i start getting these guideline errors still i manage to outcome many. Now i again faced same templates from you. Kindly show me the path thankyou (Sharpreetsingh (talk) 09:19, 5 January 2011 (UTC))
- The templates link to the specific policies that they are referring to. To clarify my intention, though: I felt that the article needed more reliable third-party sources to demonstrate that it is notable enough for inclusion in an encyclopedia.--Hazel77 talk 15:20, 5 January 2011 (UTC)
- What type of reliable third party sources you required? It is composition written by Guru Gobind Singh aside of Dasam Granth. Scholars have started study of this text too, as many of texts of guru gobind singh are not studied scholarly and Nihung Sampardaye which have whole text of Guru Gobind Singh, slowly giving away many texts of Guru Gobind Singh. There is one study article available and Dictionaries available which could help in translation. I am adding details as i find from relevant source and what i find myself studying deeply in it. i am trying to reference whole lines. I want to solve problem given by you, you want me to attach study by scholars which have till done. Controversial issues with text and so on, but it will take time as i have started writing this i feel is not fine to stop article in between. Kindly guide me the best. Thanks(Sharpreetsingh (talk) 23:18, 5 January 2011 (UTC))
- Reliable third- party sources normally means independent, trustworthy sources. Basically, the idea is that these are publications which considered the subject notable enough to publish an article on it. They should be trustworthy enough that we can rely on the information given being accurate.
- If it's a new text then we understand that it's difficult to find studies on it. Basically, just do your best and try to get as many sources as possible.--Hazel77 talk 17:28, 24 January 2011 (UTC)

Aside books i am also attaching Speeches of Authentic organizations or members on said topic to support the article. i will keep track the information about text available in past and will update here. Speedy deletion declined: Parampamthalli Sree Mahadeva kshethram
Hello Hazel77. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Parampamthalli Sree Mahadeva kshethram, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: not "an article about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content". Thank you. SmartSE (talk) 16:58, 12 December 2011 (UTC)
Nathan Hale Ray Middle School - not eligible for A7 speedy deletion
Hi, I have declined speedy deletion because schools are not eligible for an A7 speedy. This is stated clearly at WP:A7 and on the template. Non-notable middle and elementary schools are normally redirected to the school district when it has a page otherwise to the lowest level locality article. I have redirected this page. HTH.
