Discretionary sanctions notice
[edit]A community decision has authorised the use of general sanctions for pages related to the blockchain and cryptocurrencies. The details of these sanctions are described here. All pages that are broadly related to these topics are subject to a one revert per twenty-four hours restriction, as described here.
General sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimise disruption in controversial topic areas. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to these topics that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behaviour, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. An editor can only be sanctioned after he or she has been made aware that general sanctions are in effect. This notification is meant to inform you that sanctions are authorised in these topic areas, which you have been editing. It is only effective if it is logged here. Before continuing to edit pages in these topic areas, please familiarise yourself with the general sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.<RetroCraft314 />

[edit]I moved the article DDEX.io to Draft:DDEX.io because it did not seem ready. Please continue to edit it so that it demonstrates the subject's notability with references from reliable sources. Eastmain (talk • contribs) 18:56, 13 June 2018 (UTC)

Request reason:
Dear Admin, thanks for your message. I am a technology enthusiast who is extremely interested in AI, AR/VR, Blockchain etc. I believe those technology will fundamentally change our life in the near future. Currently only Internet company has its own wiki page such as Google, Baidu etc. But blockchain related foundation deserves its due attention too. In addition, I have no relationship with the exchange mentioned in my article i.e. I am not employed by them. I am just doing some research about decentralized exchange and this one catches my attention. Of course in the future I will continue the work to add more articles about decentralized exchange as general and introduce some good ones to the public. I believe that current financial system deserves disruptive innovation to improve the well-being and convenience of all the human. If I used inappropriate words in my article, I can modify to make it more neutral. Thanks.
Decline reason:
I have no doubt that you are acting in perfectly good faith, but unfortunately you have evidently not understood the reason for the block. You are blocked because your editing was promotional, and you have asked to be unblocked so that you can edit to give publicity to a subject which you think "deserves" more attention, and to provide "disruptive innovation" for a system which "deserves" such disruption. Wikipedia does not permit editing for the purpose of publicising or promoting anything, whether the motivation for doing is financial, a personal belief that the subject is noble and "deserves" to be better known, or anything else. You are unlikely to be unblocked unless you convince an administrator that you understand that, and will not continue to edit in order to gain attention for subjects you believe in. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:
Dear Admin, thank you so much for your prompt reply and the detailed reasons. I see your points now. Sorry this is my first time to publish an article on Wikipedia and in the past I only publised on other medium where there was no rule on the content. I shouldn't have ignored the fact that on Wikipedia the article and argument should be neutral i.e. without subject bias and personal emotion, and it cannot be promotional. The article should be well-supported by a great number of independent resources. And the article should be a good introductory resources for beginners who want to understand a new topic but the article itself should not be misleading i.e. being too positive or too negative on the subject. We as an author should only state facts. The audience should make the judgement instead of the author. I will keep those rules in mind when I make my contribution to wikipedia community. Thanks!
Accept reason:
I have accepted your request. Please note that any promotional editing will result in a reblock. As always with any editor, if you have any questions, please feel free to ask me. TheSandDoctor Talk 22:32, 24 June 2018 (UTC)
