This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Dr Harjinder Singh Dilgeer, and it appears to be very similar to another wikipedia page: Dr Harjinder Singh Dilgeer. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally moving or duplicating content, please be sure you have followed the procedure at Wikipedia:Splitting by acknowledging the duplication of material in edit summary to preserve attribution history.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. Copyvio

[edit]

What earthly point is there in dumping two slabs of copyvio text as you have just done at Dr Harjinder Singh Dilger. Your original posting at Harjinder Singh Dilgeer has been converted into a quite reasonable article - why do you not work on that?

Incidentally, I saw your message "visit google and type …". Please read "Google this". Was it really too difficult for you to provide a proper link, for example: Google image search? — RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 09:49, 24 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Guru Nanak Sahib

[edit]

Hello Gurdevsinghsidhu,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Guru Nanak Sahib for deletion, because it seems to be an advertisement, rather than an encyclopedia article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks, Zhaofeng Li [talk... contribs...] 14:02, 5 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Guru Nanak Sahib article and permission to use material

[edit]

I have permission from Dr Harjinder Singh Dilgeer to use material about Guru Nanak Sahib. You may confirm it from: hsdilgeer@yahoo.com

The following is his mail:

"Dear Gurdev Singh Sidhu, Thanks for your querry. I hereby allow you to use my material for an entry on Guru Nanak Sahib. I hereby authorise you to use any material from my history books.

Harjinder Singh Dilgeer" - — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gurdevsinghsidhu (talkcontribs) 05:18, 6 October 2012

I have copied this here from the talk page where you put it.
For copyright release it is not enough to have an indirect statement of permission like this. The way to arrange a formal copyright release is explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. This is important because (a) we have to be certain that the person giving permission is who he says and has the necessary authority, and (b) release to Wikipedia involves more than just permission to reproduce text: Wikipedia's CC-BY-SA license allows any reader to copy, modify and re-use for any purpose including commercial, and it is essential that the actual copyright holder understands that and confirms that he agrees to it.
But I do not suggest that you arrange that. The reason why I turned your article Guru Nanak Sahib into a "redirect" was not because of copyright concerns (I did not realise then that the material was copyright) but because we already have an article about the Guru at Guru Nanak Dev, and we do not want a "content fork" - a second article on the same subject. If you have material to add you should do that by editing the existing article at Guru Nanak Dev. Since that article is fairly complete, it would not be appropriate to add the whole of Dr Harjinder Singh Dilgeer's material, and since it is a well-established article, it would be best to propose any changes on the article talk page Talk:Guru Nanak Dev before you make them, to endure that there is WP:Consensus to make them. Wazir Khan

[edit]

Hi,

I am suggesting at Talk:Wazir Khan that the article be split to cover two different people. I would be interested to hear your opinion.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

A tag has been placed on Gurmat taksal, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which articles can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. XapApp (talk) 09:04, 13 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Sikh History IN 10 Volumes, a page you created, has not been edited in at least 180 days. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 16:54, 20 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Gurdevsinghsidhu. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Sikh History IN 10 Volumes".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Sikh History IN 10 Volumes}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 15:01, 17 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on SIKH HISTORY in 10 VOLUMES, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Widr (talk) 21:49, 12 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Anti sikhism school

[edit]

Hello Gurdevsinghsidhu,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Anti sikhism school for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. BiH (talk) 21:53, 12 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure what you tried to achieve with this edit but it introduced violations to quite a number of policies, removed a big chunk of sourced material, introduced an equally big chunk of unsourced material and so on. Please discuss these changes on the talk page one by one. --Muhandes (talk) 17:52, 25 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I just realized you actually tried to revert the article to the 2013 state. Please don't try that again. --Muhandes (talk) 17:56, 25 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
