Still Photography

[edit]

I saw that you volunteered to work on the still photography. Thanks. Please email me through EN wiki user page. Let us work together to make this a wonderful event. Once again, thank you for your initiative in this matter. I appreciate it. My best regards, Geraldshields11 (talk) 21:20, 26 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, yes. I signed up for still photography on Sunday because I'm not sure I'll have enough memory for video after Saturday...stills should take up less space. I've read the Photo volunteers and policies pages, but it isn't clear to me if there's a minimum or preferred resolution/format we should be using when taking pictures or recording video. Wishing you a Charlie Russell Christmas,
Gtsulab!

That Dad Time be your friend from here to the end
And sickness nor sorrow don't find you."

Help me!

[edit]

Please help me with pulling dates from Wikidata references for use in Wikipedia citation template. I have created a template which pulls reference data from Wikidata and transcludes the citation template. Most of the fields/parameters work as expected, but the date gives a non-specific warning 'check date'. Looking at examples, the date pulled from Wikidata seems to give an acceptable format for the citation template after looking at the 'acceptable/not acceptable' date formats table. Any suggestions on how I can fix this? More details/discussion about this issue here: https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Template_talk:Academic-written_review

I can't help with this, but you might get a faster response if you post at the village pump (technical). Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 20:03, 25 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Apparently the date, for example {{#statements:P577|from=Q39175124}} (taken from Template:Academic-written review/doc), yields not just the date but also some formatting, specifically: 7 March 2017. You will need to get rid of those formatting tags to get rid of the date error. Huon (talk) 20:32, 25 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you so much for the help! I think I'll be able to solve it now. Thanks again!!! Gtsulab (talk) 20:35, 25 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
