Information icon Hello, I'm Theroadislong. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to One Foot in the Grave have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Theroadislong (talk) 15:57, 3 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
I don't earn a penny from the podcasts I produce - it is factually accurate that as part of the cultural aspect of One Foot, amongst other things, a podcast exists with exclusive interviews from those associated from the show as well as outsiders with influence.
That is information that should be shared, in my view.
Best,

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to add promotional or advertising material to Wikipedia, as you did at One Foot in the Grave, you may be blocked from editing. Theroadislong (talk) 20:53, 3 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Are you in charge?
I know there are rules and guidance but I am only reporting facts about people who have contributed to the cultural impact of this sitcom. I removed my name from my last edit.
Can we meet in the middle and be reasonable? Griff86 (talk) 21:00, 3 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You would need multiple independent, reliable sources that have reported on your podcast, before it could even be considered, otherwise it is just you promoting yourself. Theroadislong (talk) 21:06, 3 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Alongside Twitter support from James Dreyfus and Owen Brenman, the podcast is mentioned in the below articles.

Those sources seem to be passing mentions and not in-depth coverage of your podcast. You can ask for other opinions at The Teahouse, but I will not be adding back your promotional content. Theroadislong (talk) 21:36, 3 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

No problem.
I will be sure to keep a close eye on the content you update for other articles and will remove / modify content I deem necessary.
We're all equal. Griff86 (talk) 07:44, 4 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
