Fair use rationale for Image:House2.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:House2.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 03:56, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

AfD nomination of List of songs about killers

List of songs about killers, an article you created, has been nominated for deletion. We appreciate your contributions. However, an editor does not feel that List of songs about killers satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of songs about killers (2nd nomination) and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of List of songs about killers during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Ten Pound Hammer(Broken clamshellsOtter chirpsReview?) 14:24, 31 July 2007 (UTC)

JANET article

Please check the article's history and do not say I did not specify the reason for deletion. There is nothing controversial about peacock terms and the appropriate template had been added on 15 March.85.214.22.8 (talk) 08:14, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

block messages

Hi there. I've got a teeny, tiny, mini, small request: pretty please don't use blocking templates if you're not an admin. It makes me think I'm going crazy when I actually go to block someone. Cheers. --slakrtalk / 09:31, 28 March 2008 (UTC)

A question

Hi there, Just want to ask you is anyone allowed to write anything on their own talk page or is vandalism not allowed and when we see it we should revert it. Thats what you did to this IP user [1] Whats your opinion? Did you only do this because this user was on an IP and has not got a username. Say he had a username im guessing you would not revert it right? Just wanted to know Roadrunnerz45 (talk) 07:43, 9 April 2008 (UTC)

But the article's complete nonsense! I should know ... I wrote it! Puzzle Master (talk) 07:11, 30 July 2008 (UTC)

Well, ban me ... then you can go back to your computer game ... instead of protecting articles from people like Smatprt who violate them. Puzzle Master (talk) 07:27, 30 July 2008 (UTC)

Butwal

in the page about Butwal http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Butwal. The etymology section stating that the name butwal is derived from Bethuel and Camboj{Kambojh) from Kemuel or Shemuel is outriht wrong. To verify please refer to the pages on Kambojh. I do not know the etomological source of the name Butwal but it is definitely not what is stated in the article.

You are now a Reviewer

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 05:12, 20 June 2010 (UTC)

I have nominated List of songs about killers, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of songs about killers (3rd nomination). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Claritas § 08:39, 19 August 2010 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. May 2016

Thankyou for your message. The IP for whom I left the message about Jason McCarthy is not a newcomer. He/She, under an everchanging variety of IP addresses has been making incorrect edits going back many months. I have previously attempted to explain to him/her that the statistics should be from a reliable source, but I never receive a response of any sort - it's rather like having a swarm of irritating flies buzzing around your head. As soon as you swipe one away, another replaces it. I no longer feel any goodwill towards him/her. Best wishes. 92.26.162.36 (talk) 05:27, 1 May 2016 (UTC)

Feel free to add that to the article one you find a reliable source for it as per the Wikipedia guidelines. Bakilas (talk) 05:32, 10 May 2016 (UTC)

Please stop messing with Dalton Rapattonis profile. He has a half sister Tabitha. Thank you. Lavender211 (talk) 05:35, 10 May 2016 (UTC)

Hello Bakilas--I think it takes an extraordinary source to verify that RickinBaltimore killed our article subject. Rick, if you did do this thing, please provide us with a newspaper report. Thanks, Drmies (talk) 20:33, 22 July 2016 (UTC)

And I would have gotten away with it too if it wasn't for those meddling kids and that mangy dog. RickinBaltimore (talk) 20:36, 22 July 2016 (UTC)
On a serious note, Drmies can those edits get revdel'd? RickinBaltimore (talk) 20:38, 22 July 2016 (UTC)
You srsly asking me to do something serious? Well now. Just get that dog off my lawn. Drmies (talk) 20:42, 22 July 2016 (UTC)
I should have thought of that myself--thanks. I see now where the vandalism came from. Rick, you're probably smarter than me: I thought maybe these were school IPs, but neither WhoIs nor Geolocate help me much. If you can figure that out, and it is a school (and not just someone resetting their modem), can you put the right IP templates on the talk pages? The ones that identify them as a school or whatever? Thanks, Drmies (talk) 20:46, 22 July 2016 (UTC)
Possibly, although this is a "Stalker" of mine that I've been dealing with the past month or so. I've had my talk page protected from them a few times lately. Maybe I can figure out where this is. RickinBaltimore (talk) 20:53, 22 July 2016 (UTC)
Just try to keep your murderous urges under control. Bakilas (talk) 02:05, 23 July 2016 (UTC)
