Twilight

Hello, hope the poster image uploading has been going well! I was wondering if you can review Twilight (2008 film) to see if its poster image is really the updated one from IMP Awards. Sergay first noticed that the poster image was still the original one, where I had seen it as the newest one. However, just now, since an editor tried to upload another version of the new poster (possibly because he/she sees the original poster, too), restoring the image you had updated makes me see the original poster now. If you click on the original poster image, it shows you the image page of the new poster. I don't know if that makes sense, since understanding how other editors see a page can be tricky. I was wondering, though, if you could upload again the new poster as a completely new file at 300px and with rationale -- just call it Twilight film poster.jpg or something. We'll dump the Twilight poster.jpg since it may be buggy with the different versions of the posters contained in the file. —Erik (talk • contrib) - 16:06, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

The fact that we are not censored does not mean that we publish anything and everything. We make editorial judgments about what to include and exclude. A consensus judgment stands that we should exclude identifying information about him. That it may be available elsewhere is not relevant. FCYTravis broke the 3 revert rule, removing Ghyslain Raza's name and then used his tools to resolve a conflict that he was invovled in ( and dont say that you were allowed exemption becouse of BLP since that only applies to unsourced not factual material.) This is typical behavior of Travis. Travis repeatedly removes things and then touts his own personal position as "consensus". Just see Talk:Nigel McGuinness for a prime example. I would suggest opening a discussion and finding out what the real consensus is, knowing that when Travis says this is how we do things, it is often not so. If you notice, the user who vandalized that particular page is named "Grandpafootsoldiers" with an 's', not Grandpafootsoldier singular which is my user name. I assure you I had absolutely nothing to do with this action. Oxford Wikimania 2010 and Wikimedia UK v2.0 Notice

As a regularly contributing UK Wikipedian, we were wondering if you wanted to contribute to the Oxford bid to host the 2010 Wikimania conference. Please see here for details of how to get involved, we need all the help we can get if we are to put in a compelling bid.

We are also in the process of forming a new UK Wikimedia chapter to replace the soon to be folded old one. If you are interested in helping shape our plans, showing your support or becoming a future member or board member, please head over to the Wikimedia UK v2.0 page and let us know. We plan on holding an election in the next month to find the initial board, who will oversee the process of founding the company and accepting membership applications. They will then call an AGM to formally elect a new board who after obtaining charitable status will start the fund raising, promotion and active support for the UK Wikimedian community for which the chapter is being founded.
