Reply to your Articles for Creation Help Desk question

[edit]

Hello, George Winters! I'm Timtrent. I have replied to your question about a submission at the WikiProject Articles for Creation Help Desk. Fiddle Faddle 22:43, 29 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Than you for showing me an article which requires better sources or deletion. I have proposed it for deletion unless better sources are found.

We never use other articles as a precedent. To do so will allow revoltingly poor quality to creep iun far faster. We will descend to idiocracy. We require references from significant coverage about the entity, and independent of it, and in WP:RS please. See WP:42. Thsi is inviolate. Instead of trying to change the rules, where you will fail, I suggest you find sources for your draft. Find sources and show notability and it will be accepted.

I do not correspond by email unless it is on a matter of great privacy. Fiddle Faddle 06:27, 30 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

By the way, with your new enthusiasm for excellence of sourcing, do consider enjoying rescuing the other article. If it can be referenced it will be retained. Fiddle Faddle 20:27, 30 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:Association of Applied Paleontological Sciences, a page you created, has not been edited in 6 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 01:30, 2 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, George Winters. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Association of Applied Paleontological Sciences".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by one of two methods (don't do both): 1) follow the instructions at WP:REFUND/G13, or 2) copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Draft:Association of Applied Paleontological Sciences}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, and click "Save page". An administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 02:00, 1 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I have delayed deletion for now as the subject appears to meet our inclusion criteria. Would you consider returning to the article and giving it another shot by adding some additional sources? Here is a search to get you started. Feel free to contact me directly with any questions you may have. --ThaddeusB (talk) 02:54, 1 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
