Disputed non-free use rationale for File:AC Shelton.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:AC Shelton.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 18:25, 28 February 2024 (UTC)
Alabama numbering
[edit]The state doesn't give new numbers to repeat governors. The article explicitly uses the state numbering. Instead of us fighting each other, how about we talk about what you're aiming for? --Golbez (talk) 17:29, 15 March 2024 (UTC)
- "Other states use 2 numbers for separate tenures." Yes, and Alabama doesn't. It makes it clear in the article. --Golbez (talk) 18:50, 15 March 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you, sorry, I'm was being a little protective, all the other states have the format they do because I perfected it on Alabama first, so I'm very familiar with it, and the fact that Alabama is somewhat unusual in how they number the governors. But I'm the weird one who knows that, you didn't. Thank you for the image work, I never touch all that so I'm glad someone is :) --Golbez (talk) 01:47, 16 March 2024 (UTC)
George Wallace photo discussion
[edit]Hi, so I noticed that you have been consistently changing the photo for George Wallace to the 1983 one. Could you maybe refrain from doing so and instead join the discussion in the talk page? (eye)rizz (talk) 18:20, 19 March 2024 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for May 23
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Hey Joe, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Soul Music. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 05:56, 23 May 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Binksternet. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Vincebus Eruptum, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Binksternet (talk) 04:40, 27 May 2024 (UTC)
Please do not add or change content, as you did at J'ai un problème, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Binksternet (talk) 20:47, 30 May 2024 (UTC)
Hi Gavinnuisanceofchina1984! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Johnny Rider several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.
All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Johnny Rider, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. Binksternet (talk) 20:53, 30 May 2024 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:Johnny Hallyday Joue pas de rock'n'roll pour moi.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Johnny Hallyday Joue pas de rock'n'roll pour moi.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:16, 2 June 2024 (UTC)

The file File:Sylvie Vartan Irresistibilmente.jpg has been proposed for deletion. The proposed deletion notice added to the file should explain why.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
Also:
This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:01, 20 August 2024 (UTC)
