If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Association for Social Transparency, Rights And Action (ASTRA) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. ttonyb (talk) 17:23, 14 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, please do not add promotional material to articles or other Wikipedia pages, as you did to Astra. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. ASTRA

[edit]

If you're still logging on to Wikipedia, the ASTRA article badly needs independent, reliable sources that demonstrate that the organization is notable. If such sources aren't added soon (and I can't find any on my own), then I will likely nominate the article for deletion. Qwyrxian (talk) 01:53, 30 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Muhandes. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Delhi Technological University have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles are written objectively and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. By replacing the current ranking with old, more favorable ones, you are promoting this institute. Please stop. Muhandes (talk) 09:49, 28 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop edit warring and discuss at Talk:Delhi Technological University#Ranking. --Muhandes (talk)

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Delhi Technological University, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. We discuss, we reach WP:CONSENSUS and then you delete. Not before. Muhandes (talk) 19:03, 28 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
