Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 2022–23 FA Women's League Cup, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Meadow Park. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:02, 31 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Visual editing

[edit]

E.g., [1][2] - I take it as visual editing as a possible reason why in a few occasions that a few refs have been replaced by some odd text, i.e., "Includes Template Cup, Sample Cup", "Includes Template League Cup, Sample League Cup" and One appearance in "Template Super Cup; two appearances, one goal in Template Centenary Cup". I've used the insource feature to find and restore all those refs which have been affected by your visual editing which you've added in the career statistics tables. Cheers -- Iggy (Swan) (Contribs) 15:40, 12 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Ah I see, thanks for restoring them. Much appreciated. GNKJ95 (talk) 16:37, 12 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for Manaka Matsukubo

[edit]

On 24 November 2023, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Manaka Matsukubo, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Manaka Matsukubo, the youngest player to start in the NWSL Challenge Cup, was named most valuable player of this year's final? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Manaka Matsukubo. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Manaka Matsukubo), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Reply to edit reason

[edit]

It's probably not worth a lengthy debate, but the inaccuracy I was referring to, that you mention here, is that Women's Super League was a brand name akin to English Football League for several years, and so did not identify which actual league tier a team was in - WSL1 is the league Manchester City was in, WSL2 was the league below and still part of the "Women's Super League". Unnecessary inaccuracy; FWIW the edit also just seemed weird to me because duplication in each row is usually done to add more specifics, not remove specifics to make every line the same. But again, nothing that can't be quickly discussed. Kingsif (talk) 21:40, 27 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
