Your Vandalism Reversions

[edit]

Hey! I just wanted to compliment your vandal reversion speed -- a bunch of edits I've gone to revert were ones that you had already gotten to. Great job! FaerieInGrey (talk) 06:17, 18 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately I can't use Huggles since I'm a Mac user, but thanks for the suggestion! FaerieInGrey (talk) 06:22, 18 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

1,000th edit.

[edit]

This is my 1,000th edit to Wikipedia! GLaDOS (talk) 07:38, 18 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Congratulations for the milestone! :-) Versus22 talk 18:55, 18 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Bad vandalism revert

[edit]

Re: this edit, the edits you reverted were not vandalism - they were copyediting. Please be more careful in the future. Graham87 03:13, 19 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, misread while editing. GLaDOS (talk) 02:48, 20 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I am trying to make an odd, but serious, edit to the Asahi Brewery page. There is no point in listing what the Japanese call the building colloquially if there is not an English translation of said colliquialism. Kin no Unchi literally means Golden Poop. It is strange, but if you see the buildling, it makes sense. This is not vandalism so please let it stay.

Vandal

[edit]

Thanks for reverting the vandalism on my page. I never noticed it. I guess that's what I get for talking to the friends on facebook. Thanks anyway though!--EmperorofPeopleEverywhere (talk) 03:01, 20 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Malta

[edit]

The Malta article has suffered mass vandalism by IP:41.249.33.1 what is the correct course to take in order to undo their edits? Cheers the roof of this court is too high to be yours (talk) 00:35, 23 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Variously removing links to other articles, entering false/offensive material and editing the existing information. If you won't help, I'll do it myself.

Re: adoption

[edit]

I am somewhat busy in real life right now, so I may not be able to answer your questions with lightning speed, but if you don't mind that, I'll be happy to adopt you. Thingg 15:35, 3 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I'm not involved in this article, but I noticed that you added a couple of tags to the article. Would you mind stopping by the article's talk page to explain your reasoning behind the tags? Thanks, GaryColemanFan (talk) 00:27, 1 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I am sorry but please block Bastin. If you look at his record he is an old-fashioned, conservative bully. He lacks integrity and rudimentary respect and is fascist. Every single source that there is that can defeat him he will try and try to exclude. He thinks that he owns pages. He accussed me of various misdemeanours and is outrightly biased! He has a fuelled a personal vendetta and he needs to cool his bilious head down!

Thanks--Archie Mitchell (talk) 23:22, 7 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you, But Bastin is hotheaded. I have tried but it doesn't work with him. Can you refer by request to an editor. I appreciate your assistance alot. Thank you very much

Account Creator Request

[edit]

This edit is to confirm I have requested use of the Account creator tool.

GLaDOS (talk) 01:42, 8 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for applying to access the account creation tool. I have approved your request so welcome to the team. You may now access the tool here. Before you do so, please read the tool's guide to familiarize yourself with the process. You may also want to join #wikipedia-en-accounts on IRC where a bot informs us when new account requests come in as well as the mailing list.
Currently you are allowed to create up to six accounts per day (a day being from 0:00 UTC to 23:59 UTC), although you won't be able to create an account with a similar name to that of another user; these requests are marked "Account Creator Needed". However, if you reach the limit frequently, you can request the account creator permission at WP:PERM.
Please keep in mind that the ACC tool is a powerful program, and misuse may result in your access being suspended by a tool administrator. Don't hesitate to get in touch with me if you have any questions. Thank you for participating in the account creation process. Again welcome! ---- Александр Дмитрий (Alexandr Dmitri) (talk) 05:59, 8 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Userbox, editing, aviation,...

[edit]

Hi GLaDOS! Thanks for your message on my talk page. LMBO when I first saw your METAR userbox so I just HAD to get it. I read you're a student pilot. Did you solo yet? BTW: Even so I made a tiny edit back in June 2008, I never did anything more on Wikipedia until the last couple of days so please have a little patience with me while I try to figure my way out around here (editing (I see you're quite a pro on that end...), templates, etiquette,...). Exclude in print

[edit]

Confusing edit I was reviewing Category:Exclude in print and found that you added it to File:Dewpoint-RH.svg, but I can't figure out why. It's presently included in Dew point and I don't see the value in excluding it from a print Wikipedia. Please respond on my talk with your rationale at your earliest convenience. —Justin (koavf)TCM01:41, 7 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks I appreciate your speedy response. I'll just nominate it for deletion (the file will remain, as it is on Commons.) —Justin (koavf)TCM03:05, 7 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You.

License tagging for File:Kleinfelder logo small2.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Kleinfelder logo small2.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 18:05, 28 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Your submission at Articles for creation: Weston Ski Track

[edit]
The article you submitted to Articles for creation has been created.

You are more than welcome to continue making quality contributions to Wikipedia. Note that because you are a logged-in user, you can create articles yourself, and don't have to post a request. However, you may continue submitting work to Articles for Creation if you prefer.

Thank you for helping improve Wikipedia!

December 2017

[edit]

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Draft:Weston Ski Track a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. ToThAc (talk) 22:32, 7 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Weston Ski Track, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Bill Koch (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 18:15, 14 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:VinWiki

[edit]

Hello, GLaDOS. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "VinWiki".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 11:23, 5 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
