I understand that the daily mail/express/star aren't brilliant sources and just used them to show that the DWS has been quoted by outside sources, I've gotten rid of them. However Media Bias Fact check shouldn't be ruled out. https://www.nature.com/articles/s41598-020-77660-4 << Quoted by researchers as "While its credibility is sometimes questioned, it has been regarded as accurate enough to be used as ground-truth for e.g. media bias classifiers, fake news studies, and automatic fact-checking systems."
There is also precedent of using the website that the article is about as a source to make reference of (see: https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/AtariAge , https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Airliners.net , https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/MacRumors).
I am asking that you take another look, if this request for appeal is not allowed then I apologise. Friendly Engineer (talk) 18:10, 4 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Removed the external links. Friendly Engineer (talk) 11:23, 5 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
However, I kept the one external link in the info box as the article is about a website, so I feel that it's appropriate to have a link to said website in the info box. Friendly Engineer (talk) 11:24, 5 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to clarify that I have not received any money or gifts by the DEFCON Warning System. It's a purely voluntary role as a moderator, I made the DEFCON Warning System wiki page because I was a bit shocked to find that there was no page for it, I mean, DWS has been quoted by news articles and has over a quarter of a million twitter followers and more than 3000 forum members, and I believed this to be enough to sate wikipedia's notability requirements although perhaps I was wrong, I am new to wikipedia. - Friendly Engineer Friendly Engineer (talk) 10:34, 5 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Friendly Engineer Even if you have not received money, from what you describe, I believe that you are considered by WP to have a conflict of interest because you are very close to the subject.. if I am right, you must makes COI declaration. Maybe an editor who is more experienced than I am can chime in. 71.228.112.175 (talk) 07:59, 7 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Already made that declaration on both my user page and the draft page a while ago. Friendly Engineer (talk) 13:12, 7 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

So, if I remove everything and just put in a brief description backed up by media bias fact check and the bustle article and turn it into a stub it would be acceptable? Or does the website need to be quoted in more reliable sources to meet Wikipedia's notability requirements? Friendly Engineer (talk) 20:23, 5 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
When I say "backed up" I mean quoting directly from those two sources. Friendly Engineer (talk) 20:24, 5 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
