EDM labels and sub labels.

[edit]

Just to explain the AfD and PROD's of these articles. We need to look at the criteria of WP:COMPANY and WP:MUSIC to see if they pass notability. A rule of thumb here is that when the label is set up in association with an artist as and mainly used as an outlet for his/her music, chances are it is a vanity label. As an example of a decent EDM record label article perhaps look at Black Hole Recordings. It has a reasonable set of references and a good deal of prose that indicates its notability. Happy editing. Alternate accounts

[edit]

Hi there, following up from the discussion at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Morgan Tanawa-Bamba. Sharing an account between multiple people is not allowed by our multiple accounts policy, but I think that you just made a mistake and didn't break the rules on purpose. Still, we need to make it now so that you only use one account. We can't delete accounts because it would violate our copyright and licensing rules, but you can ask for it to be blocked if you want to, which will make it so that nobody can edit from that account. See WP:SELFBLOCK. If your friend would like to try out editing again, they will need to make their own account.

And just for future reference, it is possible to rename an account if you were to decide to do that in the future. I don't recommend asking to have the old account renamed, because that will look like you're trying to hide it and the request will probably be declined.

If you need help with what to do, post a note here and I'll see it. Cheers, and happy editing. Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 13:53, 2 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
