Assignment

[edit]

Assigned Tamer al-Awam (sometimes spelled Tamer Alawam), a Syrian filmmaker of German training, who made a documentary called "Memories at the Checkpoint" for the Orient News pro-rebel television channel. Crtew (talk) 19:16, 11 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I think you started out really nice with the information. I think you do need more information in your “Info box.” I would rate the “Info box” in below average because I fill like there are a lot of holes. For the “Death” section, I think you can find more information. How did he die? What injuries did he suffer with? Who was the person who was responsible? On your “Context” section, I feel like you can explain more. You need to draw your audience in with information. Your “Impact” section was better filled with information than the others, but once again, I feel like you can fill it with more information. Your last section, “Reactions” you have nothing. Try and focus on who did his death affect and why it affected them. Overall, you have a good start, but I feel like you need a lot more information. You did a good job on finding your map and starting your Wikepedia page! --Segott (talk) 01:16, 23 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

it looks like you know what your doing the introduction looks good along with all the sections. Your info box and personal and context sections could be better but it looks good so far. Jverwey (talk) 18:33, 23 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your article looks good so far. It is probably difficult to get much info on the person, but maybe you could find a few more details on his personal life and give more background on what he was reporting on. Ljbriner (talk) 16:08, 30 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia Education Program: student survey!

[edit]

Hi! I work with the Wikipedia Education Program, and I'm hoping to get your feedback about your experience this semester! In order to help other students like you enjoy editing while contributing positively to Wikipedia, it would be very helpful to hear from real program students about their experience, so we know what to change. The survey takes no more than 10 minutes, and I'd really appreciate your response!

Thanks so much! JMathewson (WMF) (talk) 01:54, 18 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
