Hi there, re: your recent edits [1][2] at Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja, it's not our job to use interpretive labels like protagonist, antagonist, villain, hero, etc. to describe characters. It should be clear from the descriptions who each character is and what role they perform, especially for Randy, the character who the series is obviously named after. It would be appreciated if you'd please refrain from adding this sort of content in the future, as it contravenes established community guidelines. Please see WP:PROTAGONIST for more. Your most recent edit introduced some grammar problems, which is also problematic, and I've had to revert back to a more stable version of the article. Thanks. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 21:34, 14 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi again, in this edit I removed additional content that you added. Please don't add your personal opinions and interpretations to the article. This constitutes original research. If you are unsure of how to include certain information, or even if you should, please ask at Talk:Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja. As previously noted, content should focus on real-world information, not be laden with in-universe information. There were also grammar choices that didn't make much sense. Thanks. You have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours for persistent disruptive editing. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Cyphoidbomb (talk) 01:43, 15 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
You keep adding interpretive content and grammatical errors, and you haven't participated in any discussion. This editing style is disruptive. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 01:44, 15 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Your edits here introduced a lot of grammatical errors and other issues into the article. If English is not your strong suit, you might consider editing at a Wikipedia project in your native tongue. While you may mean well, grammatically flawed additions create more work for other users, and we need editors to be proficient in English if they intend to edit here. You might have a better experience here if you utilize the article's talk page at Talk:Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja. By posting there, you might find editors eager to help you add content. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 00:53, 18 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Here you add more errors than you fix. Again, I strongly recommend you start using the article's talk page, because if you continue to add problematic grammar, you are almost certain to wind up blocked. It's nothing personal, but competence is required at Wikipedia. You might find it easier to post requests and wait for people to assist. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 00:13, 19 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Toyman

[edit]

All of the different characters to take up the Toyman mantle are distinct characters, not versions of the same character. DarkKnight2149 23:23, 3 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Grammar again

[edit]

Re: this, if English is not your primary language, you should probably consider editing at a Wikipedia project in your native tongue. Repeatedly changing content that sounds fine in your head, but that introduces grammatical and syntax problems, is not constructive. Maybe a good idea would be for you to focus on changing and sourcing data rather than adding prose content. I don't mean this to insult your efforts, but competence is required at Wikipedia, and if you keep adding grammar mistakes to articles thinking that they aren't mistakes, you are quickly going to wind up blocked. At some point there is no difference between what you are doing and vandalism. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 18:06, 12 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

This edit had to be changed back because you introduced more clunky phrasing. There is nothing problematic about "A Norrisville High student who is a member of the school's baton twirling team. Theresa has a crush on Randy." Combining the two thoughts doesn't make it better, because it introduces information unrelated to the school and her participation in a school's events, i.e. her crush on Randy. It's clunky. Also, you really should start participating in these discussions, since silent editing isn't a great way to indicate that you understand the issues I'm raising. This is a community editing project. Thanks. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 23:40, 16 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Naruto characters

[edit]

Please stop adding so many characters to the list. Some parts are unsourced and those characters barely appear in the manga. If you are interested in working in all Naruto characters I recommend you to try the Narutopedia. Regards.Tintor2 (talk) 17:34, 18 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked

[edit]

You are blocked again, for 2 weeks this time, for disruptive editing. Countless editors have reached out to you to explain your edits, discuss issues on talk page, and stop fixing things that aren't broken, and you've refused to engage them at all, as far as I've been able to see. Wikipedia is a collaborative project. You need to work with editors. Its a very simple concept that easy to start - leave edit summaries, discuss on talk pages, etc, so Admin are not going to be sympathetic if you do not attempt to do this after your block expires. Please consider what I'm saying. Thanks. Sergecross73 msg me 14:59, 28 September 2016 (UTC) [reply]

Bullets

[edit]

Bullets such as this (*) are only in list. If there is only one item in a section, then we don't use bullets. I'm pretty sure you've been told this before. DarkKnight2149 21:04, 3 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Grammar again

[edit]

Edits like this are problematic. I don't mean this to insult you, but your English skills are not very strong.

This version:

Makes more sense than this version:

You've introduced lazy mistakes like failing to capitalize Alchemy, and "making his voice" is not proper grammar. We also don't typically use labels like "antagonist" or "protagonist" or "hero" or "villain" in articles. I know that both the Film and TV Wikiprojects consider them interpretive, and as such, original research. I would strongly suggest that you not make changes to prose until your English is a bit stronger. Thank you. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 23:56, 12 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Bullets (again), Subsections, ETC

[edit]

As you've been told before, bullets are for lists (which contain two or more items). If only one thing is listed in the Television section, then there's no reason to add a bullet. Similarly, if all of the things listed in the "In Other Media" section are Television (for instance), then we don't create a Television subsection because they're all television anyways. As with bullets, subsections serve a purpose. They aren't there for decoration.

Also, I have to admit that I am worried about the fact that you don't leave any edit summaries, respond to any messages on your Talk Page, or make any effort to communicate with or acknowledge other users, despite the number of times you receive messages explaining why certain edits you make aren't constructive. In my experience in dealing with disruptive users, that is never a good sign. Don't get me wrong, there's no reason to report you that I'm aware of, but please keep in mind that Wikipedia is a collaborative effort. DarkKnight2149 00:31, 16 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for persistent disruptive editing. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may request an unblock by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Cyphoidbomb (talk) 02:07, 16 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

"Indefinitely" does not mean forever, but it does mean for the foreseeable future. I'm very concerned that you do not understand the warnings you've been given, since you keep making the same problematic edits. I'm also concerned that you don't have the language skills to edit constructively. The result is that your edits are indistinguishable from vandalism. If you wish to be unblocked, you may file an unblock request, but you're going to need to demonstrate some comprehension of why you've been blocked, as well as lay out a convincing argument for what you will do differently in the future. ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open!

[edit]

Hello, Firejally. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2016 election, please review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 22:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
