License tagging for File:StevenBurrows.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:StevenBurrows.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.
For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 19:08, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
Freely licensed images
[edit]Thank you for uploading images/media to Wikipedia! As you may know, there is another Wikimedia Foundation project called Wikimedia Commons, a central media repository for all free media. In future, please upload media there instead (see m:Help:Unified login). That way, all of the other language Wikipedias can use them too, as well as our many sister projects. This will also allow our visitors to search for, view and use our media in one central location. If you wish to move previous uploads to Commons, see Wikipedia:Moving images to the Commons (you may view previous uploads by going to your user contributions on the left and choosing the 'file' namespace from the drop down box (or see [1]). Please note that non-free content, such as images claimed as fair use, cannot be uploaded to the Wikimedia Commons. Help us spread the word about Commons by informing other users, and please continue uploading!

File copyright problem with File:PaulHill-AATT.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:PaulHill-AATT.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Sherool (talk) 00:33, 31 August 2009 (UTC)
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Michael Koch (director), and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Michael Koch (actor). It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally moving or duplicating content, please be sure you have followed the procedure at Wikipedia:Splitting by acknowledging the duplication of material in edit summary to preserve attribution history.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 03:02, 14 October 2009 (UTC)

Unreferenced BLPs
[edit]Hello Lampford! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 4 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:
- Justin Jones - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL
Thanks!--DASHBot (talk) 05:19, 25 January 2010 (UTC)
- Okay, I will take care of it. With kind regards, McLampford!--Lampford (talk) 01:50, 3 February 2010 (UTC)
The article Emer Brizzolara has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Musician who does not meet WP:MUSIC.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Claritas (talk) 18:00, 19 May 2010 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of File:DGZ-DieGoldenenZitronenLiveInStuttgart.jpeg
[edit]A tag has been placed on File:DGZ-DieGoldenenZitronenLiveInStuttgart.jpeg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Tim1357 talk 01:40, 20 May 2010 (UTC)
The article Ralf Husmann has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Eagles 24/7 (C) 01:08, 31 August 2010 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Paul Hill (musician and filmmaker)
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Paul Hill (musician and filmmaker) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Sionk (talk) 00:14, 1 February 2014 (UTC)

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Westen (film), and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.picturetree-international.de/films/details/west.html.

Trivia sections
[edit]Hi. I noticed you added a trivia section to Zombie and the Ghost Train. The problem is that 1) you cited the IMDb, which is not considered a reliable source, and 2) we generally don't include trivia sections. We do sometimes have "in popular culture" sections, which have widely replaced trivia sections, but these sections require proper sourcing, too. Frequently, the best place to put trivia is on the IMDb, which doesn't have the sourcing requirements of Wikipedia. This is also what makes the IMDb unsuitable as a citation for Wikipedia, however. The King of Comedy
[edit]Hello. I noticed that you added the full cast to The King of Comedy (film). However, another user, TheOldJacobite, reverted your edit and insists that the film page should not include the full cast. I disagree and think the full cast list is essential to the film's article. There is currently a discussion about it on the talk page of the film Talk:The_King_of_Comedy_(film). If you think your addition of the full cast should be put back on the page, please visit the talk page and voice your opinion. If more than one person thinks it belongs then the editor who keeps removing it will have to stop and accept it. Thank you for your time and consideration. Donaldd23 (talk) 22:04, 16 March 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Non-free rationale for File:800TimesLonely-Film poster.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:800TimesLonely-Film poster.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — JJMC89 (T·C) 21:53, 29 February 2020 (UTC)
