Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to Wikipedia. However, please know that editors do not own articles and should respect the work of their fellow contributors on Limp Bizkit and Gold Cobra. If you create or edit an article, know that others are free to change its content. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Communicating with IPs

[edit]

I noticed your recent reverts to Gold Cobra. Generally speaking, IPs are not aware of edit histories and are not aware one can communicate via edit summaries. It would be much more effective, and less disruptive to the article, to take your concerns directly to the IPs talk page. Fezmar9 (talk) 21:13, 5 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

...and you may also want to refresh yourself with Wikipedia's guidelines on communicating with newcomers. Fezmar9 (talk) 23:26, 5 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Good work on reverting all the current unref'd IP edits - much appreicated. Lugnuts (talk) 17:46, 14 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Gold Cobra

[edit]

I notice you seem to be the primary editor of Gold Cobra, and that most (if not all) recent edits have been IPs inserting their own guess as to when the album may be released. Might I suggest posting your reasons for reverting on the talk page, and then leaving a hidden comment in the article to editors instructing them to visit your comment on the talk page? This may help alleviate some of the repetitive and useless edits. Fezmar9 (talk) 23:16, 27 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

March 2011

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Users are expected to collaborate with others and avoid editing disruptively.

In particular, the three-revert rule states that:

  1. Making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you continue to edit war, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Jasper Deng (talk) 01:51, 25 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You've had a long history of reverting others' edits without discussion or explanation. Please stop or you will be blocked by an admin.Jasper Deng (talk) 01:55, 25 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, you are reminded not to attack other editors. Please comment on the contributions and not the contributors. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. You are welcome to rephrase your comment as a civil criticism of the article. Thank you. Jasper Deng (talk) 01:54, 25 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Unquestionable Truth is listed as an LP on Allmusic and Limp Bizkit's website. This isn't a question of how you personally feel constructs an LP, it's what the sources say. Could you discuss changes on the talk page instead of edit warring? WTF (talk) 18:45, 25 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If the edit warring continues, this will be placed on WP:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring.Jasper Deng (talk) 19:41, 25 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Laser brain. I noticed that you made a change to an article, One Hot Minute, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Laser brain (talk) 17:17, 23 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop it. Your personal opinion of who wrote the songs based on how they sound is WP:OR and doesn't belong in these articles. These are featured articles and you need sources that meet WP:RS to make controversial changes like this. --Laser brain (talk) 17:49, 23 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Important Notice

[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in post-1992 politics of the United States and closely related people. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.
