[edit]Draft:Rob Fairley
[edit]Hello. This is slightly redundant with what the other editor said above, but...
Regarding Draft:Rob Fairley, the article will need some adjustments before it's ready. Articles, and especially biographies of living people, should be mainly based on independent sources. Fairley's site and Room 13's site are not independent of Fairley. Independent sources are necessary to establish notability, per WP:NBIO. Any subjective interpretation of Fairley's work, for example, should be clearly attributed as an expert opinion supported by a reliable source ("John Smith, writing for The Guardian, described Fairley's work as..."). The length of the article should also reflect reliable sources, and Fairley's own sites should only be used for non-controversial details or for responses to independent sources. Too many details can be seen as an attempt at promotion. I hope that's helpful. Grayfell (talk) 22:55, 15 March 2017 (UTC)
Thank you for all your advice I really appreciate it. I will go back to the page with this in mind and rework it with references. Thank you again FelixClovelly (talk) 23:14, 15 March 2017 (UTC)
- Sure, my pleasure. One other thing to keep in mind is WP:PEACOCK words. Instead of saying "He was instrumental in founding..." it would be better to just say "He founded..." or "He was one of the founders of..." Neutrality is obviously very important here. Good luck.
