Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Ghanta Ghar has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NbNt2sNNa88. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 01:04, 5 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Faisalabad International Airport.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.facebook.com/PCAA.FIAP/photos/pb.100069883295433.-2207520000./520665171441594/?type=3. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 12:04, 1 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hello, I'm Adakiko. I noticed that in this edit to Nawaz Sharif, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Adakiko (talk) 11:45, 18 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi.
Thanks for your concern. I am updating language and only removing outdated data.
Please review and uphold this edit.
Kind regards Faran 11:54, 18 February 2023 (UTC)

Please refrain from making test edits to Wikipedia pages, such as the one you made with this edit to Nawaz Sharif, even if you intend to fix them later. Your edits have been reverted. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Adakiko (talk) 12:03, 18 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Adakiko,
As per your concern, I am using the show preview and there are no errors in any of the edits. Please state specific reasoning. Faran 12:25, 18 February 2023 (UTC)
  • You are "breaking" citations. Please use wp:Show preview and make sure that the citations in the "References" section are showing errors. e.g. not red. Thank you 12:05, 18 February 2023 (UTC)

Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Nawaz Sharif, you may be blocked from editing. Adakiko (talk) 12:12, 18 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you violate Wikipedia's biographies of living persons policy, as you did with this edit to Nawaz Sharif. Adakiko (talk) 12:33, 18 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I am improving language and not changing any links and/or the data associated.
Wikipedia can see that a better written english langauge is good for every consumer of the content.
The previous writing is extremely poor writing that I am fixing.
No historic content is modified. Faran 12:38, 18 February 2023 (UTC)
Your content does not cite wp:reliable sources. See this which shows the citation errors. There are six errors. That doesn't include the uncited content. Adakiko (talk) 12:43, 18 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
duly noted. I will fix this problem Faran 12:44, 18 February 2023 (UTC)
Also, you are wp:edit warring. Please read. Adakiko (talk) 12:44, 18 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Apology

[edit]

My apology for being brusque with you and for not clearly answering your questions.

Content added to a biography of living persons, per Wikipedia's policy of verifiability, must cite a reliable source. You added content without citing sources and/or removed citations that supported existing content. Please do not remove citations without giving a valid reason in the edit summary. Example:

  • The Early life and education before your edits has nine citations: [9], [10], [11], [12], [13], [14], [15], [16], and [17]. Afterwards, the Early life and education section here had zero citations.
  • The Early political career had 13 before and one after.
  • Chief Minister of Punjab section went from nine citations to zero.

Please see referencing for beginners on how to add a citation. It discusses a tool for helping to format a citation.
If you have questions, you can leave a question here or ask at the Teahouse where there are experts who will provide assistance. I am not always online, so you may get an answer faster at the Teahouse. I restored your last edit to Nawaz Sharif as the body appears to support most of your changes.
I would strongly encourage you to have a discussion with the person(s) undoing your edits before restoring the same content. Cheers Adakiko (talk) 08:46, 19 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your explanation, however I would disagree with your assessment of the situation.
The writing for all the material is clearly poor and in bad taste. The references used previously were broken and/or outdated.
If you look at the changes I made, I did not remove a single detail or piece of history related to the former Prime Minister.
The content written decades ago, and in poor taste and poor English language deserves to be updated. I strongly believe that all content should be historically accurate and verifiable. I did not make a single change to the entire page, that was not on that page already.
You removed my edit of the PM's history of joining the political parties. In the little preview box it says, there is no date available for when he joined the PML. In his early life column it says, he joined it in 1976 which is completely true.
In his early life section it says he was studying in the early 1980s, and then it says he was the finance minister in early 1980s.
You need to learn the history and then blame someone who is trying to write in a professional manner. The previous writing is clearly written by a person with an agenda rather than someone writing an historic account of facts.
I did try to explain my position but you kept on repeating the same argument.
Once again, thanks for your apology.
Good Day. Faran 09:36, 19 February 2023 (UTC)
You removed the two citations following Nawaz was born in Lahore, Punjab, on 25 December 1949.[1][2] How are they outdated? There was no change to his birth date nor location. Both links still work. Why did you remove them? You left everything before those citations: see here. Similar issues with the rest of your edits. The writing may have been poor, but it met verifiability. Adakiko (talk) 09:54, 19 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Regarding dead links, please see keep dead links. Bad links do suggest the content was verifiable at one time. Such content may be available on an internet archive such as the Wayback Machine. Citation templates such as {{cite web}} and {{cite news}} do have features for adding a link to the Wayback Machine or other archive. See archiving a source. File permission problem with File:Chenab Club Faisalabad Logo 2022.jpeg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Chenab Club Faisalabad Logo 2022.jpeg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{permission pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. Here is a list of your uploads. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 04:31, 19 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Rickshaw in Pakistan.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement of https://www.geo.tv/latest/188660-in-lahore-will-rickshaws-soon-go-extinct. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.

— Ирука13 15:05, 20 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
