Hello, I'm Oshwah. I noticed that in this edit to Los Angeles Fashion Week, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 08:58, 22 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Direct quotation

[edit]

The sentence you keep editing is a direct quotation from the LA Times. As much as you might wish they did, they did not write your favored organization's name first. Stop vandalizing the quotation. - MrOllie (talk) 16:03, 4 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello dear Mr Ollie,
This Article on LAFW has had many either outdated or incorrect information displayed for awhile now, it keeps referencing mostly one source (LA Times) yet ignore the dozens of other articles that directly contradict the information already given. I happily work at a fashion educational institution here in LA and have had the privilege of working with everyone over the years and so as to appease I will make sure to reciprocate and reference other more updated articles for everyone's information which is the point. FaithfullyFashion (talk) 17:01, 4 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
It is not up to you to change quotations from the LA times because you disagree with them - direct quotations must be left unaltered. You also must not delete reliably sourced information. MrOllie (talk) 17:07, 4 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Items shared only cherry picked information, same source LA Times source states simply seeking to share a more updated and balanced view of the the information as is. There are many other LA Times, WWD, & more articles also highlighting this that are not referenced here so as to make things easier I will also reference some of the ones shedding light on this since we both agree this to be a reliable sources of information. FaithfullyFashion (talk) 17:39, 4 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Adding additional reliably sourced information is of course welcome. But do not delete what's there, and absolutely do not change direct quotations has you have repeatedly done. - MrOllie (talk) 17:48, 4 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
