You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Anne-Lot Hoek requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Anne-Lot Hoek. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Alexandermcnabb (talk) 13:25, 9 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The deletion got cancelled (the contested deletion was added to the Talk page after which deletion was cancelled); an entire revised version was created. Ewout12345 (talk) 21:26, 13 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest

Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. Thank you. I hope you have seen I am open about my relationship and this tag has been placed and removed in the past as the article was enriched by many secondary and tertiary sources, now constituting 2/3 of 143 references. The primary articles are used to back statements (not quotes about herself, but proof that e.g. she works on specific topics). I hardly make any changes anymore, once in while updates like the new fellowship in 2024, her next book will be in a few years time. Those COI and other tags were removed as they have checked and seen it was okay, hope you will reach the same conclusion over time. Thank you for reaching out and your hard work in contributing to everyone’s knowledge. Ewout12345 (talk) 21:12, 2 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

A question about paid editing disclosure

[edit]

Why did you put a paid editing disclosure on your user page and then remove it? JBW (talk) 19:16, 2 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, because I had misunderstood what was meant there. I am not paid at all, I have a job in finance. Ewout12345 (talk) 16:47, 6 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
