I personally think you owe me an apology, as if anything, especially at first, I was defending you against the suggestion that you were a sock. I don't like being given a cut and paste Talk page allegation that I am applying "political pressure". --Merlinme (talk) 20:27, 30 October 2010 (UTC)

Now all this sock stuff seems to have wound down I just want to say I have not accused you of being a sock either. What I do think is that you definitely show a competence and a pattern of editing which suggests that you have edited quite a lot before. This is probably just a coincidence but your editing pattern does have some of the hall marks of an alternative account so that is why editors are not all assuming good faith, I don't think you should blame them for it. Funnily enough I acctually briefly thought you might be User:Abd because he does not get on at all well with William Connolley, but then plenty of users don't get on with WMC.
