You have been blocked indefinitely from editing, because it is clear that you are not here to contribute to building the encyclopedia. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading guide to appealing blocks and then adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of this page, replacing "Your reason here" with appropriate text. Request reason:

Hi. On the 26th of November, I made a silly, non-constructive edit to the page Prairie vole. I was new to editing Wikipedia, fully unaware of the moderation system Wikipedia has in place and unconcerned by the consequences of my actions. Before I made my account on Wikipedia, I had heard that vandalism was usually immediately reverted and made the stupid decision to test that out by inserting a reference to the younger generation's latest "brain-rot" terminology, in what is supposed to be an informational page. I understand how such an edit would go against the rules, how it could harm reader experience, and how it contradicts the encyclopaedia's mission. After understanding the stupidity of my actions, as well as doing a lot of reading on Wikipedia, I am extremely motivated to start making real contributions to the project. Should this ban be lifted, I would be extremely grateful to the mods, and from this moment onward, whether the mods decide to lift the ban or not, I pledge to never engage in destructive actions that harm Wikipedia or any other online encyclopaedia again. This ban was a turning point for me, a realisation that my actions DO have consequences, and that, despite what my contribution history shows, I could bring a lot to Wikipedia. I sincerely apologise for my actions, and hope to be given another chance. If I broke any regulations while writing this appeal, I also ask to be notified and given the benefit of the doubt, as, at the end of the day, I am still new. Thank you!Endangeredreader (talk) 11:38, 25 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
