A tag has been placed on Blogtronix requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for organizations and companies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. A tag has been placed on Blogtronix, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

Re:deletion of "blogtronix"

[edit]

Hi Elimccargar. Although it may have not been your intent, your article, "Blogtronix", read like an advertisement. Here on Wikipedia, we have a policy in which advertising/spam is speedy deleted per deletion criterion G11. Please note that articles for deletion are judged on their own merit, not in comparison to other articles (See WP:OTHERSTUFF). You are certainly welcome to resubmit the article, but please revise the text so that it complies with the policies and guidelines noted at WP:ADS and WP:MOS; otherwise, you run the risk of having the article deleted again. FASTILYsock(TALK) 02:19, 7 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

but if its exactly the same as the other articles about other companies then why havent those been similarly censured? Elimccargar (talk) 07:28, 7 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

please take a look at articles like socialtext and thoughtfarmer and let me know what changes i need to make Elimccargar (talk) 07:58, 7 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please see my repose above. That summarizes pretty much all you have to do. Regards, FASTILY (TALK) 22:37, 7 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Blogtronix, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. MrOllie (talk) 22:43, 11 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Elimccargar. You have new messages at DESiegel's talk page.
You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.

I have nominated Blogtronix, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Blogtronix (2nd nomination). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Haakon (talk) 22:22, 12 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

listing articles for deletion

[edit]

Hi! Regarding Jive Software, please look at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion#How to list pages for deletion. Note you haven't done two steps properly: step 2 and step 3. For step2, you especially need to note the {{subst:afd2 part. For part 3, you need to transclude it so people are aware it is up for deletion.

Also, read WP:BEFORE carefully. Have you tried looking for sources (step 9)? Cheers, tedder (talk) 23:33, 12 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
