Sockpuppet investigation

[edit]

An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/The Train Master, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

If you wish to prevent the deletion:

  1. Edit the page
  2. Remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. Click Publish Changes button.

But, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept, either in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. At any case, please consider improving the page to address the issues raised or it may be deleted later anyway.

Speedy deletion nomination of Great Northeast Plaza

[edit]

Hello Elevatorsarefun,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Great Northeast Plaza for deletion, because it seems to be an article that was previously deleted by a consensus decision.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Meatsgains(talk) 02:54, 9 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on The Goodman Co. requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. ==railroad stations-- Thereis no point in adding articles without references. They will almost surely be deleted. If you do not have references immediatel yat hand for the very first edit, write the article in Draft space, whichwill give you 6 months to do it

Hatfield, PA station moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Hatfield, PA station, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Please take your time

[edit]

Hello. I feel terrible in having to move a number of very recently pages from the mainspace back into draft form. I'm sure you are disappointed and a bit frustrated too. You clearly know your stuff - but that's not sufficient when creating an encyclopaedia page. Put simply, please spend a bit of time adding references (citations) before you move on to create the next one or two line page. Whilst each one probably has the makings of an interesting article in the fullness of time, they simply aren't good enough unless a reader can Verify that the subject actually exists. To help them do that, you must include references to support the 'facts' you are adding. See this guide on adding citations. If you don't do this- all your new pages will simply be moved into draft form when you can either work on them there, or, of course, you can just allow them to be deleted in due course if you don't bother to improve them. When you're ready to resubmit them, you can click the big blue 'Submit your draft for review' button, and an experienced editor will ensure it meets our requirements of notability and verifiability before moving it back into the encyclopaedia. Regards from the UK, 00:45, 13 November 2018 (UTC)

Your creation/recreation of poor quality articles is verging on disruptive behaviour

[edit]

Hello. A few days ago (see here) I asked you to slow down when you create articles. I apologised to you for converting a number of your uncited micro-stubs to drafts. I expected you to improve these and resubmit them for review. Instead, you totally circumvented this and simply created a duplicate page, added one single source to meet WP:V, and failed to add any category and failed to communicate with me over my concerns about your poor editing. (e.g.: Moscow station versus Draft:Moscow station; Gouldsboro station versus Draft:Gouldsboro station). This is not the correct way to behave here.

You currently have a sock-puppet investigation open against you (which I will pass by) but I am concerned that you are WP:NOTHERE to legitimately improve this encyclopaedia, and simply think you can do what you like. That couldn't be further from the truth. So, please, DO NOT not create any more uncited pages; DO NOT create any more duplicate copies of pages that have previously been draftified, but edit and improve them; and please address concerns raised about the qaulity of your editing. Cite all your sources; add categories; not making minor disruptive edits (as at Salamanca (city), New York), etc. Should you fail to address these shortcomings, I'm afraid you risk being taken to WP:ANI, or facing a block for disruptive editing. I genuinely think that would be a shame. So, work on the drafts, improve them, and submit them for review, rather than create new copies from scratch. If you don't understand my concerns, just reply and explain what you don't understand. I will gladly expand upon my concerns about your editing in the hope that in future you will edit in a better and more constructive manner. Regards from the UK, Nick Moyes (talk) 23:05, 13 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
