[edit]Hello, I'm Cnilep. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, List of metonyms, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Cnilep (talk) 23:59, 14 May 2023 (UTC)
Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to 2007–2008 world food price crisis, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you would like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. Adakiko (talk) 21:28, 17 May 2023 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to use disruptive, inappropriate or hard-to-read formatting, as you did at 2007–2008 world food price crisis, you may be blocked from editing. There is a Wikipedia Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Adakiko (talk) 21:47, 17 May 2023 (UTC)
- I provided reasoning? I dont want to risk myself but is there a way to remove that?Ejrms (talk) 21:58, 17 May 2023 (UTC)
- One commonly employed method for contributing to Wikipedia is the WP:BOLD, revert, discuss cycle. It is OK to make bold changes that you think improve an article, but if someone reverts your edit or expresses an objection, you need to discuss the issue on the article's talk page. If you repeat an edit that was previously reverted, you risk falling into an WP:EDITWAR, which is unproductive and violates Wikipedia policy. Instead, you should start a discussion at Talk:2007–2008 world food price crisis, where can you describe why you think that content should be removed. Then other editors can weigh in, and you can all decide together how best to revise the article. Cnilep (talk) 02:34, 19 May 2023 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Pedro Chávarry
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Pedro Chávarry requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. 2A00:23EE:2678:4134:8C1C:EEFF:FE52:6737 (talk) 23:24, 5 June 2023 (UTC)
Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution
[edit] Hi Ejrms! Thank you for your edits to Iran–United States relations after 1979. It looks like you've copied or moved text from United States sanctions against Iran into that page, and while you are welcome to re-use the content, Wikipedia's licensing requires that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution
. If you've copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thanks! DanCherek (talk) 01:40, 4 July 2023 (UTC)
- Ok noted that. ThnxEjrms (talk) 18:24, 4 July 2023 (UTC)
