[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to I Can't Go for That (No Can Do), but we cannot accept original research. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. SummerPhDv2.0 12:05, 26 September 2017 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for October 6
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited I Can't Stand Myself (When You Touch Me), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Hot Pants (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 11:06, 6 October 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add or change content, as you did at Why Can't We Live Together, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Binksternet (talk) 17:06, 30 October 2017 (UTC)
The article List Of Songs Which Shaped Rap Music has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Reads like WP:OR - this is very much the creators opinion
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Gbawden (talk) 11:43, 31 October 2017 (UTC)

Redirection
[edit]Hi, from where did you get the method by which you tried to create a redirect at Static (James Brown song)? I've fixed it now. For future reference, the correct redirect syntax is:
#REDIRECT [[target page name]]

[edit]Please refrain from changing genres, as you did to Me Myself and I (De La Soul song), without providing a source or establishing a consensus on the article's talk page first. Genre changes to suit your own point of view are considered disruptive. Thank you. SummerPhDv2.0 19:28, 3 November 2017 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of We Got Our Own Thang
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on We Got Our Own Thang requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. [edit]Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by adding your personal analysis or synthesis into articles, as you did at Make It Last Forever (song), you may be blocked from editing. SummerPhDv2.0 00:37, 22 December 2017 (UTC)
I blanked this page and added the content from it to The Bridge (MC Shan song). FYI you should have created this article in the page with the right title, even if it was redirected already. Everymorning (talk) 16:47, 1 January 2018 (UTC)
Edit summaries and non-minor changes
[edit]I've noticed that you are editing without giving any explanation of your edits. Please learn to use edit summaries to explain why you are making changes to articles. Also, you are tending to mark edits as minor when they are not - again, you should look at this. Thanks. Ghmyrtle (talk) 15:57, 16 January 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Please stop re-adding text which is not supported by reliable sources, and in fact is untrue in that she did not write it. Discuss further on the talk page if you wish. Ghmyrtle (talk) 20:38, 30 January 2018 (UTC)
- It seems that you are still adding your own commentary and opinions to articles, without providing the necessary reliable sources to justify them. You may be editing in good faith, but the comments on this page suggest that you would still benefit from reading some of the basic principles of how to edit here, as set out in the welcome notice at the top of this page. Thanks. Ghmyrtle (talk) 22:15, 30 January 2018 (UTC)
