You're very welcome for the barnstar, I thought it was well-deserved! Based on observation and interacting with you, I do believe your edits are not motivated by a conflict of interest, and frankly have enjoyed seeing you learn the ropes as quickly as you have.

May I take the liberty of making a recommendation? You can tremendously improve your contributions by always including a reference for a new fact, several within a sentence if needed. It will prevent your edits from being tagged as suspected original research (which I've seen lead to accusations of having 'insider info' before, which may be where the COI confusion arose in the first place), and references essentially anchor new facts from deletion.

It's also courtesy: without a reference, other editors have no idea where you got the information, and if you gleaned that information from a short-lived or changing website, it could be we'll never find where you got it. You can leave it simple (even a bare URL within simple reference brackets is immensely helpful, like this: <ref>FULLURL</ref> ), and other editors can upgrade the reference formatting later, if you like. One final suggestion: when working on a page that basically looks like crap (like Chessington did a month or so ago), big bold changes can be immensely helpful. However, if the page has reached a state of equilibrium and many editors seem to be mostly content with it's format, that can be when first creating drafts with your ideas, then letting other editors weigh in, can be polite. It basically nips conflict or time-consuming reversions based on opinion in the bud. Anyways, I'm off to sleep. Earflaps (talk) 02:09, 5 January 2014 (UTC)

That's my assumption: I can see why events might seem trivial to an editor not as familiar with theme park pages, especially with a lack of third-party references to show that each event is individually notable. To get the section re-instated without conflict, I'd personally recommend popping it into a draft, where we can work on finding good references (the more third-party they are the better). For example, BBC news articles about Zoo Days, things like that, could help anchor the section. If you're not familiar with using sandbox, just using a section on the Chessington talk page for editing would probably work fine too.Earflaps (talk) 12:10, 5 January 2014 (UTC)

Chessington theme park section

Hi there Earflaps, Having a good new year? I have renamed the theme park section on the theme park page back to Chessington Theme Park due to the way the park themselves state, if you go to their website www.chessington.com and click on the third section of the main image banner it states "Chessington Theme Park is currentley closed until March 2013" implying that this is the theme park's name. I'm lookin', it seems you are right! I am having a good year :) I think I'll add the areas part, though, so it reads Ches.. Hotels Section

Hi Earflaps, thanks for your message and work on the alton towers resort page, do you think it would be possible for you to create a section on the chessington page about the Chessington Hotel similar to the ones about the alton towers hotels, thanks. The toadstool is way in the back :b you can barely see it though. If you'd like to reference a section to put on Chessington, go for it, though I'm assuming without refs it probably won't last. Marissa Nadler

Hey.

Thanks for all your work on the Marissa Nadler page! Great work on a somewhat under-appreciated artist; greatly enjoyed her album July and I believe she just released an EP? Regarding Myles Bear. I agree that that simply mentioning someone's relationships is not relevant. Back in February when I began expanding the article, he was listed as the producer and engineer of Ballads of Living and Dying - further details on Discogs. To find further references for her early recording career I came across the popmatters.co.uk interview from May 2013. I found it quite useful, as she discussed her early career and that first record. It includes the following:

Do you remember any of your first songs?

They were bad. They were embarrassing. I would record them on cassette tapes. I recorded a record when I was 16, but it was more [that] my parents, as a gift, bought me a couple hours in a recording studio in New Hampshire. I was really amateur. I was not a trained singer, and I was very shy also. I don’t even know where that [record] is now! They were supportive but they never thought I’d grow up and want to be a singer for a living. When I was in art school, I’d hang out at bars and do open mics and play a little around the city of Providence and recorded a record in college that ended up being my first proper album, The Ballads of Living and Dying. I had a boyfriend at the time named Miles [sic] and he recorded that record for me over the course of many months and we fell in love during the recording, and he ended up being the subject matter for several albums after!

Thanks for the note Karst: I was actually going to contact you before adding the information (I'm not fond of edit warring), but after finding it didn't have a reference, went ahead and decided to be bold. Also thanks for the reference, so I know where the information came from. I can definitely agree that referencing heartbreak or first love as an early influence makes sense (that would probably fit quite well in the style and influence section, for example). I might support including Baer's name, if Baer was himself a notable person (. Unfortunately, if we began listing the names of unimportant people who have been muses for celebrities, even if those people influenced their albums, things would begin getting silly very quickly (named and referenced spouses in the personal life section are a different matter.) It also gives the name undue weight to me, since in her second comment, it doesn't seem so much him, but simply the fact that it was her first major breakup experience that affected her music. Agreed. Mentioning his name in the main the article would add undue weight. Initially I placed him in a similar context as [Eric Rosse] with [Tori Amos]. However, as you point out, he hasn't achieved any notability on his own (he currently appears to working with Allysen Callery, see his Discog.com entry). How about this as a compromise. Refer to break-up in the main text under the early influence section, using the reference above. Then in the album article, where he is already listed by name, clarify their involvement and the context of the recording, again as outlined in the reference above? Also this review already listed mentions him and might be useful to expand the album article with. Since no music journalists have bothered to mention the relationship, even if she did mention it offhand in an interview, I wouldn't exactly call it 'Gwen Stefani and her bassist' level notable. If I may say, hookups in the studio are pretty common, to the point of not worth mentioning, and when they are mentioned, they can sometimes (not that this is your intent) seem like namedropping for the benefit of the less-important party. I missed your comment on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Knowledge & Innocence. Redirects are deletions, while merges are not. I imagine this was a metaphor, but for clarity, WP:AFD says that redirect/merge conversations should be held on the article's talk page and that AfD should be for outright deletion arguments and discussions only (or else be speedily kept).  czar ⨹ 18:44, 24 November 2014 (UTC)

2. The German article's sources will not match the en.Wiki's strict criteria for notability. You may have to search for more, but in my experience you will be hard pressed to find mentions of this event in the German national press,
