Rant from author of Nonpseudoscience
Hi. Wanted to bring to your notice a rant from 0XQ on my talk page regarding deleted article Nonpseudoscience. VasuVR (talk, contribs) 12:35, 20 November 2008 (UTC)
- Oh, my. I read it. Seems he's just blowing off a little steam because we somehow "broke" his idea that WP is the place to write about one's own personal, religious, and political beliefs. ←Signed:→Mr. E. Sánchez Get to know me! / Talk to me!←at≈:→ 12:40, 20 November 2008 (UTC)

I moved the text about Tar Valon from the article Places in the Wheel of Time series into it's own article. Since it said that the article was long and should be split up. Exactly what did i do wrong?

- Please be sure to use ==Your Title Here== (two equals symbols at the sides of your title header for each section if using the "edit this page" method or fill in the Subject line when using the "new section" method).
- I have restored the text. The first time you introduced it, it kinda seemed like a vandal erasure of a redirect and going against neutral point of view when it says "fantastic" (I've removed that now). Other than that, I'm sorry for jumping too quickly. ←Signed:→Mr. E. Sánchez Get to know me! / Talk to me!←at≈:→ 12:42, 21 November 2008 (UTC)
Pleae explain why categorizing the hockey cards is vandalism?
Please explain why categorizing the hockey cards and other items like the other types of cards at 1950s Topps and 1960s Topps is vandalism? NaNoooooooo (talk) 20:33, 22 November 2008 (UTC)
- Categorizing is not vandalism. Adding information about legal problems without listing a source (1950s Topps) and removing the TOPPS logo from the article, in addition to adding unsourced, unverifiable information is vandalism (1960s Topps).
- While I'm at it, let me remind you that though you are free to delete your warnings, doing so just lets us know you've read them. ←Signed:→Mr. E. Sánchez Get to know me! / Talk to me!←at≈:→ 20:38, 22 November 2008 (UTC)

Hi -
You left note this on a page I created:
Though the article is clearly about an actor, only one source documents information about the actual person (and vaguely). The rest of the sources/citations document the videos in which he has played. It currently does not conform to the notability guidelines for actors and actresses. Please consider finding more sources prior to resubmission.
I'm very confused, because the article is very clearly not about an actor, rather a film and television writer, director and producer whose many works already have Wikipedia entries. It is well-sourced and thorough. I am thoroughly disappointed that the article was rejected because it did not meet the notability guidelines for an actor or actress - a measure this person could never achieve.
Please feel free to respond directly to me at <REMOVED>@<REMOVED>.com.
Thank You, Kenny —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.198.203.152 (talk) 08:00, 27 November 2008 (UTC)
- Please remember to use a headline for new messages and not put them under unrelated messages, as this is interpreted as a reply. There is also no need to transport old messages or notes, only point to the article in question. Please do not include e-mail addresses in your message, as these pages are crawled by bots or other spamming methods. Please read my edit notice when you click the "edit" link.
- You have logged on using a different IP address, and your contributions do not show the submission of an Article for Creation. What is the article to which you are referring? Is it Brian Burns?
- I included him in the mainspace. I still think you need to document more about him, rather than IMDb profiles about his works or related acts.

I would like you to help me with an article I am writing about which I found in the requested articles section of the site. Can you please help me beause I do not completely understand why my article was declined and I was wondering if you could help me by telling me what I need to have added (specific details) and what I should add tp it exactly. Please get back to me ASAP. Thank you so much!
Respectfully Yours,
Me.

- I think you are referring to Operation: Saving Earth. The article has been declined mainly because it does not assert notability. Basically, what that means is that the article's context does not say why it is a notable organization. You may be thinking, "well, it talks about an organization that wants to save the earth". True, that sounds really nice. However, it has not been mentioned in the media, by third-party reliable sources, or the like. Here are a few of our policies that you should familiarize yourself with prior to resubmitting your article.
- I noticed you tried using their MySpace and their official website as sources. We unfortunately cannot accept those as sources, but you can link to them when your article is fully developed.
- One last thing I'd like to encourage you to do is create an account. This way, you can "userfy" an article and work on it and let us help you with it before moving it to the namespace. (Kinda what I'm doing with this article I'm working on. It's not part of the encyclopedia yet because I'm working on sources for it.) Please let me know if you need more help. I'll be glad to help you along the way. I haven't written many articles myself, but that's why we're a community and help each other out.

Page On Yogesh Chabria -
Hi Edward,
Thanks a lot for helping Wikipedia grow! It is because of people like you that we have such a dynamic encyclopedia. I am new as a contributor and had made a page here: http://wiki.riteme.site/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia_talk:Articles_for_creation/Submissions/Yogesh_Chabria&oldid=254696408
I'm not too sure what needs to be done exactly not have it deleted and I find a lot of technical language used a bit confusing. I hope you help and let me know what all details need to be added. Yogesh Chabria is a popular voice in India who talks about investing in a more simple and interesting manner and has a published book by CNBC. That is the reason he will be relevant to lots of people.
Thanks a lot for taking time and reading.

- Please be sure to place your messages at the very bottom of my talk page. In addition, please provide a headline to them, so that I may be able to see the topic in question.
- I declined the article because it did not really assert notability in the text. What I mean by that is that the article consisted of only a few lines of text. The biography should include more information on the subject in order to enter the mainspace. You should try to work on the article a bit more so that it includes plenty of information about the subject. You may find it easier to create an article by registering an account on Wikipedia.
- I'll be happy to help you along as you find more information on this person, such as birthday, and other items vital to writing a biography of a living person. Please read that policy and this one regarding notability to get an idea of what is expected of an article. Let me know if I can assist further. ←Signed:→Mr. E. Sánchez Get to know me! / Talk to me!←at≈:→ 10:16, 29 November 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for the reply and information Edward. Sorry about posting the message in the wrong area - I am still learning. I will post it at the bottom in the future. I will also try to read and learn more about Headings and Bios, and over time will create my account. I'm not too tech-savy yet.
I will surely include more details about what I know. I was hoping once we have a small bio - other Wikipedia users can add more to it, don't you feel that is a good idea? That way the topic can evolve at a global level. I will surely need your help around here as by now I'm sure your a Wikipedia Pro!
You are doing great work and please continue doing it!
- 123.201.120.143 (talk) 05:20, 1 December 2008 (UTC) Karan
- It's no problem. Thanks for the compliment; I'm not quite a pro at this, as you will discover that Wikipedia is a place where you learn every day, though I can pretty much make it seems navigating "the halls" of Wikipedia quite easy.
- I hope not to sound spirit-crushing in any way. I know that it seems like a good idea to place a small article (what we here call a stub) and watch it grow. However, articles (especially biographies) must have a sense of "maturity", if you would, when they come here. That means, the article must address a decent spectrum of a person's life before it is accepted. This is what we've come to call "assertion of notability". The biography of a living person must state in its text why it's notable from the beginning (per our policy: WP:BLP). The Articles for Creation method is a great way to submit articles, but it doesn't really allow for addition past a certain timeline.
- Creating an account is simple; there's no technical complexity to it. If you decide to create one, I'll do my best to teach you the technical side of Wikipedia, which you'll have down in a matter of days. Cheers, and let me know what else I can do! ←Signed:→Mr. E. Sánchez Get to know me! / Talk to me!←at≈:→ 11:46, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
Hi Edward,
I'm so glad to have found someone here to communicate with. It makes everything much more personal and nicer. I will surely make the Bio more complete and comply with instructions. I will also mention why it is notable - only thing once again I get very confused with so many codes/brackets. As someone who is such an important person in the Wikipedia community, can you please suggest them to make it a little less 'code' oriented. Something more on the lines of say Gmail - where can click and insert things. Or maybe have a group of people to whom novices like me can submit content - and they in turn can help us make it better with references. I was lucky to have found you, but I'm not too sure everyone else is that lucky.
Also I wanted to know for instance can something like this : http://www.moneycontrol.com/india/news/mf-experts/strike-gold-times-financial-crisis/11/40/366664 be used as a source for my Bio on Mr. Yogesh Chabria? This is from the CNBC - India site.
Will surely make an account in sometime - when I feel I have more to contribute to the Wikipedia community. :-)
You don't know how much help you have been. Without you I wouldn't have learned so many things here. It feels great to learn all this technology stuff at my age. Keep it up young man!
P.S. : I have edited the Bio based on your suggestions!
http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:Articles_for_creation/Submissions/Yogesh_Chabria
Hope it is better now. I can't seem to get rid of the things I had written earlier on the top though. Could you please help me out with that? 219.91.241.131 (talk) 06:25, 2 December 2008 (UTC)Karan
Help with article
Hi~ I'm having a hard time with the article I'm writing for wiki. It keeps getting declined by you or someone else at wiki. I thought the article was corrected and non-biased the second time, however, it still was declined for the reason of being advertisment-like. Can you please help me with this and point out exactly what I need to change in the article to make it acceptable. Your help will be greatly appreciated.
P.S. this is regarding the TriFame article.
Thanks,

- Hello. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~) to produce your Wikipedia signature.
- Well, basically, what needs to be done is find more sources (I see you tried using their website as a source, but this generally shouldn't be done) from reliable third-party websites or print materials (the Miami Herald is good). In addition, we need to make sure that the article asserts notability in its text. It unfortunately won't be enough just to say what the company does, but provide information on why it's notable. Please let me know if I can do more. Cheers. ←Signed:→Mr. E. Sánchez Get to know me! / Talk to me!←at≈:→ 06:51, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
2006 WPA Men's World Nine-ball Championship
I honestly don't think the 2006 WPA Men's World Nine-ball Championship is notable enough to have its own article. That's why, I believe it should be redirected to WPA World Nine-ball Championship. In most cases, one edition of an annual event is not always considered notable unless they have significant stories to tell. 124.106.203.130 (talk) 06:58, 4 December 2008 (UTC)
Why did you remove this?
Why did you make this revert? You didn't leave a comment of any sort to indicate why. It isn't sourced, but is accurate and seems germane to an article that is current and in development. tedder (talk) 07:00, 4 December 2008 (UTC)
- I commented on the contributor's page as to why I reverted it. I failed to identify it as a film plot addition. ←Signed:→Mr. E. Sánchez Get to know me! / Talk to me!←at≈:→ 04:13, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
A Matter of Loaf and Death - my editing is legitimate.
You deleted my two paragraphs of plot summary because it was "lacked references". I refer you to Plot summaries, where I quote: How to cite Where the plot is of one single piece of work, it is not necessary to add a citation, for example, if your article is on a stand-alone film, book, comic, television or radio programme, the citation would be the work itself. However, where the work discussed was published or broadcast in a serial form, a citation to the individual episode, book, film or comic is appropriate to allow readers and editors to better identify and verify the summary.
The plot is indeed of one single piece of work, namely Wallace and Gromit: A Matter of Loaf and Death, as aired on ABC Television Australia, at 8:30pm, Wednesday December 3, 2008. Hence, as stipulated, there is no need for a reference. I understand that some details in my addition are missing, and expect these would shortly be added by other editors.
Hence, please allow me to restore the changes. Otherwise, would you like to add a reference to the episode itself, aired as described, if this is possible?

Scary Go Round article
Howdy. As I noted on the discussion page:
"Much of the information on this page was out of date, and it seemed inappropriately exhaustive (the Characters section was a seemingly endless list of virtually every character who had ever appeared). I put up a new version which was reverted by a bot with a faulty 'report false positives' link. Perhaps someone can compare the old version with mine and craft a compromise?"
Disagree? Fine. But it wasn't vandalism, and it wasn't "clearly deleting text without explaining a reason": the above is the reason.

- It seems I've been screwing up lately. Might need another Wikibreak. Sorry for identifying it as vandalism. It did seem like a lot of information diappeared/added. I've restored it to your version.
- Just a note: ClueBot's false-positive page seems to work just fine. Here's a link: [1]. Cheers. ←Signed:→Mr. E. Sánchez Get to know me! / Talk to me!←at≈:→ 07:20, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
Notable Residents of Belfast, ME
I do not know who 151.200.36.246 is (the IP appears to be in Washington, DC), but Google and/or Wikipedia searches reveal that the names this person has added to the Notable Residents section all appear on their face to be appropriate prominent onetime residents of Belfast with notable accomplishments made there or elsewhere. As a longtime summer resident of Belfast and amateur historian of the area (I have had family there since 1749), most of these names are familiar to me. If you disagree with any specific name please make your case in the Belfast "Talk" page before deleting them again and making another charge of vandalism against 151.200.36.246 as the edits by this person appear to have been made in good faith. (Centpacrr (talk) 18:28, 6 December 2008 (UTC))
- Hello. Beforehand, allow me to tell you that I esteem the fact that you have traced your family history to the age of our country's founding fathers. Being able to say one has family from so many generations in one place is something to truly be proud of and appreciate.
- I won't question your authority on this subject. Thanks for pointing that out. What prompted my reversions was the fact that the first addition replaced names rather than add names and leave existing ones there ([2]). Later, (s)he added the names and left the others in tact, but I did not see this. I won't remove them, now that I have at least some way to kinda verify that the additions weren't just names pulled out of a hat. I'll try Googling them also and find some citations for them, especially if the new subjects do not have articles on their own. Thanks for the message. Cheers! ←Signed:→Mr. E. Sánchez Get to know me! / Talk to me!←at≈:→ 20:27, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for your prompt reply. You will notice that some of the names added actually already had Wikilinks. You can see my complete genealogy here (including the several Waldo County families such as Treat, Merrill, Buck, etc), and also my extensive history of the Belfast & Moosehead Lake Railroad here. Please do not accuse me of adding inapproriate links, when I have done nothing of the sort. And please stop your holier-than-thou attitude. --Westwind273 (talk) 18:12, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
- Please add a title to your messages, otherwise, I will interpret them as a reply to the question or comment above yours (in this case, an unrelated matter).
- At the time, your addition did seem inappropriate as it said this site was "A great" site. Your addition was not adherent to neutral point of view. You also failed to submit an edit summary, which prompted me towards vandalism. I'm sorry if you found my reversion unbearable and a tremendous pain. ←Signed:→Mr. E. Sánchez Get to know me! / Talk to me!←at≈:→ 04:30, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
Why do you do this?
Looking at this page, it seems you make a life out of going around and deleting valid contributions that users have made to articles, following your own sense of what is right and wrong, and ticking a lot of people off at the same time. Get a life! --Westwind273 (talk) 18:24, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
- Perhaps you should read this policy on attacks on other editors. There are some things we call "human errors" in a planet we call Earth. If you, or anyone, disagree(s) with my way of treating additions, you, or anyone else, can come here and tell me that. (As, obviously, they have done). I resolve things calmly. As you can see above on the message before yours, we came to an agreement (does the consensus policy come to mind?). Perhaps you'd like to look at my other contributions before blatantly saying my contributions are only intended to infuriate others and eliminate good content.
- As for getting a life, it really is none of your concern how, where, or with whom I spend my years on this planet. Please be "non-rude" in your complaints here. Usually, notes saying you disagree with my addition/reversion and explaining why are enough. But I do thank you for taking a genuine interest in my life. ←Signed:→Mr. E. Sánchez Get to know me! / Talk to me!←at≈:→ 04:30, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
Mistake
My edit was valid. I was removing a non-neutral POV statement full of weasel words "it is highly probable," "extremely successful," etc. that was written without any backing or evidence. When I removed it you called MY edit "original research"? Sorry. I'm editing the page back to how I edited it before. 209.218.120.3 (talk) 04:54, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
- Just be sure to specify what you are doing in the edit summary, instead of "No it's not" or "changing it back". Something along the lines "removing use of weasel words and unverified claims per WP:VERIFIABILITY". ←Signed:→Mr. E. Sánchez Get to know me! / Talk to me!←at≈:→ 04:57, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
- I merely assumed that anyone checking my edits for vandalism would know it when they saw the edit, rather than rushing for the RV button. Silly me. 209.218.120.3 (talk) 05:00, 8 December 2008 (UTC)

TriFame Article
Hi Ed, Can you look at my revised article and tell me if it meets wiki's requirements? And can you tell me how to add pictures to the article, I can't seem to figure it out. Thanks~
TriFame is an online talent community founded in April 2008 by two college students Navid Zolfaghari and Kyle Haines. Users upload and view content on Trifame.com in the areas of modeling, music, dance and a misc. category called “offbeat.” Four times a year the site hosts contests for the modeling, the music, and the dance categories, and one annual contest for the ‘”offbeat” category. Three winners are selected by the community for each contest and the winner receives prizes ranging from MP3 Players, cash to record deal or magazine cover.
TriFame marks an innovative step in this process due to its wide focus on empowering the artist as well as its patent-pending voting system. The site serves artists seeking to gain exposure and fans looking to connect directly with artists. Users vote for their favorite artists four times a year in four different categories. TriFame.com signals the growing trend in the entertainment industry wherein market power is being transferred directly from the agency to the artist and consumer.

- Well, the sources are coherent with WP:WEB, so there should be no problem with that. It's a bit short, and it might need to assert why it's notable. You should resubmit it for review, and let others take a deeper look into it. If you can find more sources and expand it a bit, it would definitely help.
- To add images, you can use the [[Image:Example.jpg]] template which produces <--this. You can tweak it with pipes/bars to give more effect. [[Image:Example.jpg|right|thumb|This is a sample image]].
- The |right| command tells it to align to the right of the text.
- The |thumb| command makes it display as a thumbnail for view; this can also be a number of pixels, as in |30px|.
- The |This is a...| will appear as a comment below the image.
- You can find many images on Wikimedia Commons. It's best to upload your pictures there.
- When you find an image you like, remember to replace its name where I have "Example.jpg" right now. You should include the name (case sensitive) along with the file type extension (they come after the name, and common ones include .svg, .jpg, .jpeg, .gif, .png, .bmp, etc. and should also be exactly what it appears to be after the picture name). You can link to pictures on websites but not embed them. The software won't let you.
- There are some licensing restrictions, so take a look at this policy on images.
- Let me know if you have any more questions. Cheers, ←Signed:→Mr. E. Sánchez Get to know me! / Talk to me!←at≈:→ 07:31, 9 December 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for moving this image that I contributed to Commons. Back when I started out doing pictures I was on dial-up so I made the images smaller for upload. I have updated the Commons page by uploading a larger sized version of the picture, so do go ahead and delete the en.wikipedia version! - Ahunt (talk) 13:46, 11 December 2008 (UTC)
AfC news
Dear AfC participant,
- Msgj and Tnxman307 are organising the AfC challenge! It's a little competition to help improve some of the articles created through AfC and we are hoping that everyone will get involved. For level 1, you just need to bring a stub up to Start-class. Level 2 is improving a Start-class article to C-class. And so on. To get involved or for more information please see the competition page.
- Those of you who haven't reviewed an article recently might not have noticed the new process that was implemented this year. Reviewing articles is now more enjoyable than ever :) You might like to give it a try. All articles waiting for review are in Category:Pending Afc requests. (Please read the updated instructions.)
- Please consider adding {{AFC status}} to your userpage to keep track of the number of articles waiting for review. At the time of writing we are officially backlogged, so help is needed!
- There is currently a proposal to bring the Images for upload process under the umbrella of WikiProject Articles for creation. The rationale is that both processes are designed to allow unregistered users to take part more fully in Wikipedia, and partipants in each process can probably help each other.
If you no longer wish to receive messages from WikiProject Articles for creation, please remove your name from this list. Thank you.
Computer User sources updated
Thanks for your comment.
THIS Is A VERY DIFFICULT ONE TO DOCUMENT ONLINE.
I have given some direct PAGE sources in "sources" although (1) most of those links are already embedded in the article. (2) most real documentation is in PAPER form in libraries. The odd thing about what was once a popular very high circulation printed computer magazine in 23 metro areas is that very little ONLINE record of it from the print days i.e. no one scanned and published electronic copies - not even the three historic owners. (3) It still DOES exist today ONLINE www.computeruser.com (as linked in sources and embedded) but the current owner gives no real historical info on their current massive information website EXCEPT TO CREDIT THAT THE pioneering magazine HAS EXISTED FOR 30 years. (4) The prime LIBRARY search sources for it can not be page linked because they are library references where to retreive most search responses one must first log-in. The ones I list will accept an outside district library card referral from an outside user's library and then allow searches.
Let me know what else you need. I have no vested interest nor want any credit. I started this only because there was no Computer User page which Wikipedia needed to link from Computer Magazine Lists and I happen to know a bit about it. --71.34.63.60 (talk) 05:26, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
Standard Parking
Hi - I was reviewing the AfD discussions and noticed your nomination of Standard Parking. I agree with your assessment that the article was poorly constructed. However, like many articles that make it to AfD, this is an article that could much more easily have been fixed and saved. I have done this to show what an article can look like after a little work. The subject is a notable company and there are good bits in the article but it is not particularly encyclopedic or well written. While this is often not as much fun as deleting the work, I would encourage you to think first about how an article can be retrieved before nominating for deletion. |► ϋrbanяenewaℓ • TALK ◄| 18:33, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
G1
Hey. I removed the {{db-nonsense}} tag that you placed on The Weeper. G1 is for patent nonsense, so if you can understand what the article is about it doesn't apply. This essay might help clarify common CSD mistakes. Regards, Matt (Talk) 05:48, 17 December 2008 (UTC)
Re: Great Ten Article
Thanks for the comment. I understand I'm new here, and that wasn't a particularly well-structured entry. I fully intend to write it a bit better. However, as badly as it was written, the information was verifiable through a canonized source: the page (Login: <REMOVED>, Password: <REMOVED>) I directed to was done in conjunction with the authors of the book themselves and the publisher. Not only this, but the information under certain entries are blatantly wrong (The Mother of Champions entry).
I apologize if it wasn't fully up to par, I just felt I needed to give at least a corrected (if sloppy) entry since the current one has very outdated information. Thanks and have a nice day! JusticeAndRule (talk) 05:08, 19 December 2008 (UTC)
- I am sorry if you felt that my reversion in any way bit your newcomer status. The information was not verifiable as written because you did not provide the URL for the source (as can be seen in this diff.). You only included (to quote) "<ref>www.gideonii.com - Great Ten Entry</ref>.". This was only a domain, not a source. As for providing information from pages that are password and login protected, I am not sure about that policy and will be asking for help. Regardless, I rather you not provide your login information as your account may be prone to attack. Please ask me if you have any more questions. ←Signed:→Mr. E. - No, it's fine. I don't mind getting the help, and I understand your point now. :-) But the password and the login aren't actually mine; the website which I linked (I'll do it better when I have the time. Holiday season and all...) is an in-universe blog which require the character's login and password. The character is named Carl Draper a.k.a. Master Jailer, and the information I posted is available at the bottom of his wiki entry. It doesn't relate to me in the slightest, so don't worry about it. I simply posted it so you could access the site, which is "password protected". JusticeAndRule (talk) 02:44, 24 December 2008 (UTC)

But he doesn't have a wikiquote article. I checked before I removed it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.44.91.229 (talk) 11:09, 20 December 2008 (UTC)

Hey Mr. Sanchez I am sorry for vandalizing your trabuco hills high school page but that was not my intention. my intention was to notify you that there has been another notable alumni from trabuco hills by the name of kyle grover if you simply google his name with fishing it will confirm my statement. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Alumni5002 (talk • contribs) 07:02, 21 December 2008 (UTC)
- Please be sure to add a title to your messages, or they may be interpreted as replies to other messages, as well as signing your comments.
- The article to which you refer is not mine. It belongs to everyone. I had just seen a lot of vandalism recently. The name you added may not have been vandalism, and I am sorry if I interpreted it that way.
- However, your addition was unsourced. Please be sure to provide a source prior to addition of the name. Thank you. Cheers. ←Signed:→Mr. E. Sánchez Get to know me! / Talk to me!←at≈:→ 09:09, 21 December 2008 (UTC)
Albino Fawn Productions
Hello. I am referring to this page when I state that I have added the Animation Magazine link. This evidence of publication in an internationally-syndicated magazine, as well as the CBS "Las Vegas" reference should satisfy notibility in the creation of the article. 3 Internationally distributed release, along with press coverage in significant sources definitely qualifies for inclusion under Wikipedia guidelines, I feel. I put the article in review mode again. Would love for you to review it again. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.188.242.84 (talk) 11:25, 23 December 2008 (UTC)
- I have reviewed the article once again, and have made some comments. Another user has reviewed and declined the article once again, unfortunately. I hope my comments are not taken personally, but IMHO. Thank you for your contributions to this project!. ←Signed:→Mr. E. Sánchez Get to know me! / Talk to me!←at≈:→ 17:56, 31 December 2008 (UTC)
Why did you take the Albino Fawn Production logo down?!?! I am the sole copyright holder. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.105.22.236 (talk) 03:45, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
Speedy Delete of Idaho Shakespeare Festival
You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.
Was it coincidental, but how come you removed these categories just after I ask the user to do so? Just curious! Kind regards, Dryke (talk) 19:09, 3 January 2009 (UTC)
- Oh, I saw your message on the Recent Changes page, and acted. :-) Since no one really "owns" articles or their 'own' user namespace, I went ahead and did it (I have also since blanked the Sanbox, since we don't need two copies of the same article). Cheers! ←Signed:→Mr. E. Sánchez Get to know me! / Talk to me!←at≈:→ 19:16, 3 January 2009 (UTC)

Administration
I see you want to be a administrator but can't nominate your self;
I'll nominate you for administration if you want.
Thank you,
SaiyanEmperor2008 (talk) 20:00, 4 January 2009 (UTC)
- Thank you for your willingness to do so :-). Even though self-nomination is possible, I am still in the learning process (even after being here a while). There's a few things I still need to get down, and write more articles. Maybe in the future, I would accept the nomination, but at this time, I will continue vandal-fighting and reverting. Thank you for your consideration! :-). Cheers, ←Signed:→Mr. E. Sánchez Get to know me! / Talk to me!←at≈:→ 17:59, 5 January 2009 (UTC)

- So someone in a library vandalises Wikipedia, and it just so happens to be someone else that's in the same library at the same time that noticed the vandalism? --Deskana (talk) 20:14, 5 January 2009 (UTC)

- Anything that shows up in the recent changes list with red or black numbers is what I target for reversion. If you argue that statistically, the chances of such reversions happening within the same location/IP address, I will agree with you. ←Signed:→Mr. E. Sánchez Get to know me! / Talk to me!←at≈:→ 20:17, 5 January 2009 (UTC)
- That's a bit implausible isn't it? It also doesn't explain why this person was using a different browser setup to yours - libraries typically use a standard setup across multiple computers. I've also yet to hear of a library that has Google Chrome installed on their computers. Was it, perhaps, because by using multiple browsers you didn't have to keep logging in and out to edit from two different accounts? That explanation is much more plausible. --Deskana (talk) 20:20, 5 January 2009 (UTC)

- I will say totally implausible. I don't err on the side of impossible, but very unlikely, yes. I know what you're getting at, however. There's a number of scenarios or explanations, but I don't see what good this will do. At this point, IMHO, I think you are about ready to draw a conclusion of SOCKing. Having been here a while, I know the tricks, and being a CU, I'm sure you do, too. ←Signed:→Mr. E. Sánchez Get to know me! / Talk to me!←at≈:→ 20:25, 5 January 2009 (UTC)
- I was the administrator who requested Deskana, a checkuser, look into this. You are both correct in that it is incredibly unlikely for two users, both of whom are directly interacting with each other, to be in the same location at the same time. This is compounded by the fact that your explanation does not match up with the checkuser report, as Deskana just mentioned. Two different browsers are very unlikely in the same library, particularly if one of them is a relatively new browser most people will be unfamiliar with. Also, the account whose autoblock was affecting you had an innate knowledge of Wikipedia policies and history, as seen in its deleted contributions with Willy Once Had Wheels. All of this points to a single logical conclusion; that you are abusing multiple accounts to cause deliberate disruption to the project through a good hand/bad hand scheme. This is expressly forbidden under Wikipedia policy, and therefore I am hereby blocking all of your declared accounts indefinitely, and expect that checkusers will look carefully to locate any further accounts you may have. You may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}}. I would suggest reviewing WP:GAB for some tips on how to best format your request, as your comments so far have not helped you any. This is a checkuser-based block and should not be lifted without first consulting a checkuser. Hersfold (t/a/c) 20:30, 5 January 2009 (UTC)
- After consulting privately with Deskana, I've reduced the block term on this account to one month. Your alternate account remains blocked indefinitely. Hersfold (t/a/c) 20:36, 5 January 2009 (UTC)
- I thank you for your consideration. I would like to see my user page blanked until I return, if at all possible. In my attempt to not draw up excuses in similarity to the vandals I have fought alongside you in the past, I offer no "explanations". I will not request a local unblock until, and if, I draw my thesis. Cheers, Wikipedians. ←Signed:→Mr. E. Sánchez Get to know me! / Talk to me!←at≈:→ 20:44, 5 January 2009 (UTC)
Hello! Sorry to see what you've been mixed up in here. I just wanted to say one thing. Everyone makes mistakes here, without exception. What matters is how you deal with those mistakes. Owning up shows a lot of dignity. Anyway, enjoy your break and I sincerely hope to see you back editing here in a month. I'll blank your userpage now. Best wishes, Martin 22:00, 5 January 2009 (UTC)
