A tag has been placed on Veterinary pharmacist, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. An anonymous IP editor got angry at my edits to Veterinary pharmacist and even blanked my user page. As the article's creator and cotrubutor you might be intersted in my answer atUser_talk:Tikiwont#Veterinary_pharmacist. I count on your help in improving the article and fighting vandalism.--Tikiwont 16:48, 26 April 2007 (UTC)

Sally Silverstone

Please do not make personal attacks as you did at Sally Silverstone. Wikipedia has a strict policy against personal attacks. Attack pages and images are not tolerated by Wikipedia and are speedily deleted. Users who continue to create or repost such pages and images will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Thank you. --Xnuala (talk) 02:19, 30 March 2007 (UTC)

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Veterinary Pharmacist, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Strontium bromide

Welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome your help to create new content, but your recent additions (such as Strontium bromide) are considered nonsense. Please refrain from creating nonsense articles. Feel free to write the article yourself, if you have any knoiwldege on the subject. If not, put a request in at Wikipedia:Requested articles. But please don't start a blank article and ask for it to be created, as it will just be deleted. – Tivedshambo (talk) 20:41, 31 March 2007 (UTC)
I've re-created Strontium bromide as the most basic stub I can - as much as my very limited knowledge of chemistry allows. Please add more information to it. Don't worry about it looking right - other more experienced editors will correct it.

License tagging for Image:Br2Sr1-10476810.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Br2Sr1-10476810.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. Thanks for this contribution, which I have wikified and sourced somewhat. However, I removed your latest addition, since I think that the current source only says that the cornea also processes pain sensations from front of the head, but not that the chemical here causes a headache. If you have a source for that, please reenter the statemant after the SCIAM citation adding a proper citation. --Tikiwont 07:46, 13 May 2007 (UTC)

Article creations

Hi Ducky. I notived that most of the articles you created are either deleted or redirected to an older article. Perhaps it is better (more useful) if in the future you do a more thorough search for articles similar to the one you want to create, and check if the subject is already discussed therein. It would also be better if you consider if the articles you create can be verifiably sourced to reliable sources: articles without sources are much more likely to be deleted or redirected. Perhaps it would be the best if you at first mostly stuck to editing existing articles, adding small bits here and there, to get a better feeling of what our articles should be like (although I am aware that there are a lot of not-so-good articles around as well anyway). You give the impression of a potential good contributor, and it is a pity if those efforts are wasted. Fram 15:19, 16 May 2007 (UTC)

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Br2Sr1-10476810.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation.--Strangerer (Talk) 18:19, 23 May 2007 (UTC)

Duplicate images uploaded

Thanks for uploading Image:Pig Picture.JPG.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Pig Picture.JPG. The copy called Image:Pig Picture.JPG has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 17:30, 6 July 2007 (UTC)

User talk pages and user pages

Regarding user talk pages, it is preferred to not delete notices, but instead, to archive them. You will find how to do this here, under "When pages get too long." Your talk page is intended to serve as a place to discuss your contributions. It ends up being a sort of a history of the work you've done and the conflicts you've been in, or the praise you've received. It's alright to archive comments or warnings, but blanking your talk page is relatively less appropriate, as it is not actually yours but instead belongs to us all. Please read WP:USERPAGE and WP:TALK. When you desire to keep the "clutter" down on your user talk page, I suggest that you create archives for these messages. I would be happy to assist you in doing just that if you ask me to. You can see a sample of archives (mine) here. As for your user page, most users seem to use it as a place to describe themselves as people and/or editing entities. Many collect links to pages they are working on and/or have been working on. You user page is more "yours," in a way, than anywhere else on wikipedia, but is not intended to serve as a personal webpage either. Once again, read here to learn more about this. -- Kukini hablame aqui 23:51, 6 July 2007 (UTC)

Please do not continue to add that image to the page. We have discussed this matter on the talk page and decided it's not of high enough quality to include. Please respond there if you have any questions, thanks. Chubbles 00:15, 7 July 2007 (UTC)

I suppose so, if it helps illustrate something important that's not already covered by the many pictures that are already on the page. It would be best to suggest pictures on the talk page first, but I think the pictures we have on there are quite good as is. Chubbles 00:21, 7 July 2007 (UTC)

Notability of Johnathan Rand

A tag has been placed on Johnathan Rand, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. 24.4.253.249 01:48, 28 July 2007 (UTC)

Redirect of The Michigan

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on The Michigan, by Schutz (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because The Michigan is a redirect to a non-existent page (CSD R1).

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting The Michigan, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 17:22, 1 August 2007 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of On deck

A tag has been placed on On deck, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per CSD A1.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. --Leedeth 06:14, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Outfield.jpg

Thank you for uploading Image:Outfield.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 16:13, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
