Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Kepler-62e may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "<>"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
  • <!-- | mass_earth = 36

Hello, Dren5144. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Kepler 90h, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 08:37, 1 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve Nu2 Canis Majoris b

[edit]

Hi, I'm Kudpung. Dren5144, thanks for creating Nu2 Canis Majoris b!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. This article about a scientific topic must be referenced to a reliable source.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 23:51, 16 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited HD 180314 b, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page AU (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Star stubs

[edit]

Dren5144, I do thank you for creating stubs on notable stars, but could you please try to add a little more content to your stubs? When you create them, they are totally unreferenced, lacking in categories, and don't have any navboxes or infoboxes. It would really help other editors if you could make an effort to include these in your articles. For a nice example of what to do, you can look at the article 68 Cygni. StringTheory11 (t • c) 18:35, 22 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Kepler90g requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. JMHamo (talk) 20:03, 22 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. I reverted your edits relating to AEgir, where you changed the name to Ægir. The releases I can find specify AEgir, not the the highly specific letter Æ. Do you have a citation for the different spelling? Tarl.Neustaedter (talk) 00:13, 10 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Artist's impressions of exoplanets

[edit]

In the past couple days, you have restored the artist's impressions to Upsilon Andromedae d and 55 Cancri e. After reverting you at Upsilon Andromedae d, I gave a detailed argument for my position on Talk:Upsilon Andromedae d#Artist's impression and asked that if you re-revert, you give your rationale for restoring the impression and engage in discussion about whether it is appropriate. You reverted without any response or discussion on the talk page, and then restored the impression at 55 Cancri e the next day. On Wikipedia, disagreements must be resolved through discussion and consensus. Reverting without discussion is simply edit warring. I am reverting both of the restored artist's impressions, and have given my reasoning for doing so on the relevant talk pages. If you wish to restore them, please first give your reasoning/counterargument on these talk pages so that you are not simply edit warring. Thanks. A2soup (talk) 20:05, 18 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Maintenance templates

[edit]

Please do not remove maintenance templates from articles you created without resolving the issues, like you did to Kepler-26e: see this edit, and this edit. These templates are useful because they notify other editors and help them to improve pages. Once you fix the problems with the article, you may remove the template. Thank you. Hello, Dren5144. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Gliese 876 g, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Notice

The article HD 185435 has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

not notable per WP:NASTRO

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
