good job finding sources
At Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Gone in the Teeth. And very good precedent for what can be done in similar cases. DGG ( talk ) 02:26, 1 September 2010 (UTC)

Roger Price deletion proposal
Hi -- thanks for notifying me of your proposal to delete Roger Price (Utah politician). I'm not particularly attached to the article :-). Do note this story, however: [1], and that the article on the Personal Choice Party calls Price "its most notable candidate". If you do delete the article on him, some information from that story should be integrated either into Personal Choice Party or into United States Senate election in Utah, 2006, I think. Joriki (talk) 11:13, 4 September 2010 (UTC)
- There's precious little in the Roger Price (Utah politician) stub to merge and the Personal Choice Party already has a paragraph on that election that discusses the fascinating substance of that article. I have, however, just now added that article as a reference to the Personal Choice Party article which was itself also completely unreferenced. If the Roger Price article should be deleted, it would be appropriate to convert it into a redirect to the party article. - Dravecky (talk) 16:39, 4 September 2010 (UTC)

If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |

KRMS DYK
When I signed on today, I was a little confused about the DYK note I got (like yours above) so I looked into it and was pleasantly surprised that you gave me half credit on the DYK. Thanks very much! :) I will add this to my tiny collection of DYKs. Again, thanks! :) - Neutralhomer • Talk • 22:51, 4 September 2010 (UTC)
- You got this ball rolling so you earned it. And congrats on the Stephens City article. - Dravecky (talk) 01:00, 5 September 2010 (UTC)
- Double thanks! A great WikiDay indeed. :) - Neutralhomer • Talk • 01:02, 5 September 2010 (UTC)

so what about the image
you posted this message, but you have never explained what is wrong with my image's descriptions and attributions. Is it something that could be fixed? If no, should the image be deleted? Thanks.--Mbz1 (talk) 19:44, 8 September 2010 (UTC)
- You describe the photo as simply "The place of the duel between David C. Broderick and David S. Terry" when it should also acknowledge that you've artistically manipulated the photo to include portions of an undated drawing (File:Duel between Broderick and Terry.jpg) from the Associated Press. (On that note, the duel drawing description should explicitly acknowledge the Associated Press as its credited source, not provide an obscured Google Images link.) My preference would be to see the "place of the duel" image uploaded as it exists in reality, without unmentioned and uncredited artistic embellishment. - Dravecky (talk) 20:24, 8 September 2010 (UTC)
- Okay then. Could you please delete my image File:The place of the duel between Broderick and Terry .jpg, and I will fix the description of the other one. Also could you please restore the article in my user space only. I will work on it there. May I please ask you do not restore the talk page of the article? Thanks.--Mbz1 (talk) 00:47, 9 September 2010 (UTC)
- I'd be happy to. And, yeah, that "rude rants" thread on the talk page was not your finest hour. - Dravecky (talk) 01:42, 9 September 2010 (UTC)
- Done and done. The article is now at User:Mbz1/Duel at Lake Merced -- Dravecky (talk) 01:47, 9 September 2010 (UTC)

DYK
Glad to see you around again :) Shubinator (talk) 01:07, 11 September 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks. I won't be as active as when I was doing a dozen DYK articles a month but I'm trying to keep my hand in. - Dravecky (talk) 04:47, 11 September 2010 (UTC)
SFContario
Thank you for saving the SFContario page. I'm glad that you were able to build on the stub, instead of the page being deleted. I don't know of other third-party sources of info about it, other than blogs. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Flow (talk • contribs) 03:39, 13 September 2010 (UTC)
- Always happy to help, especially on science fiction convention articles. As you get closer to the event, you should be able to generate some press coverage in both the mainstream and fannish press. Those article can them be used to expand and improve this article. - Dravecky (talk) 03:42, 13 September 2010 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (File:Soulless_by_Gail_Carriger_1st_edition_cover.png)
Thanks for uploading File:Soulless_by_Gail_Carriger_1st_edition_cover.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Melesse (talk) 08:48, 22 September 2010 (UTC)

Good job on the Gail Carriger novels
Good job, I hope you keep populating the group of articles at Template:Gail Carriger, it is refreshing to assess new well sourced articles on novels even if they aren't exactly in the mainstream. They just need a little more content breadth and they would make great B class articles. I imagine, though, that the sources are limited. So good look, and if you need any help, feel free to contact me. I am currently populating Template:JFCooper slowly but surely, if you are looking for work. Again, Good job! Sadads (talk) 23:48, 22 September 2010 (UTC) I think this fits nicely:
