Your edits concerning the riddle are mainly what we call original research
[edit]Please see WP:NOR. You need to learn how to cite, see Help:Referencing for beginners. And Ev Cochrane isn't a reliable source. Doug Weller talk 16:42, 11 March 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to Samson's riddle. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. Doug Weller talk 21:07, 11 March 2020 (UTC)
What you should do now
[edit]Besides read the reply from another editor on my talk page, post your suggestions to the two article talk pages and see how they are received. It's best that this is all done publicly on the article talk pages so that other editors can see and join in. Thanks. Doug Weller talk 09:53, 12 March 2020 (UTC)
Final warning
[edit]You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by inserting unpublished information or your personal analysis into an article, as you did at Samson's Riddle. Doug Weller talk 16:53, 15 March 2020 (UTC)
- There is a discussion board where this sort of issue can be raised, see WP:NORN. You're welcome to make your argument there, but further edits adding this material are, as I say above, likely to result in a block. Doug Weller talk 16:55, 15 March 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Keir Starmer. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. — Czello 11:30, 23 August 2022 (UTC)
- Please explain which elements are my own views.Johnson published Michie's demand for total genocide for the Scottish Nation and the extermination of every Scot. The 2001 and 2011 Census counted six million Scots and 6,000 Jews in 2004. So Michie and Johnson were demanding extermination for all of these 6,000 Scottish Jews. They were also making death threats against Prime Minister Tony Blair, Chancellor Gordon Brown, Ex Defence Minister Malcolm Rifkind, Lib Dem Leader Charles Kennedy, Ming Campbell, Ian Duncan Smith, and Dr Liam Fox the Tory Party Chairman. All had Scottish parents or born in Scotland. I could have included former President Donald Trump, mother born in the Scottish Isles and Queen Elizabeth II who has Scottish family. Boris published Michie's demand for all these Scots to be exterminated. They wanted ethnic cleansing at Westminster. Michie and Johnson were calling for a 2nd Holocaust of six million UK citizens. Do you think calling for a 2nd Holocaust is something you might publish by accident? The terms 'verminous', 'ghetto', and 'comprehensive extermination' are all written by Michie when he wrote 'Friendly Fire'.
- Do you believe it is acceptable for a UK MP to publish a proposal to exterminate one million Scottish children? Do you think it is funny for Boris to propose the extermination of one thousand Jewish children in Scotland? Boris was also inviting Spectator readers to slaughter his own ex wife, Scottish lass, Allegra Johnson and all this while he was Shadow Tory Culture Minister. If you check 'Friendly Fire' p 20, 14th August 2019, and Harriet Sherwood 'The Observer' 11th August 2019, and the Scottish Census 2001 and 2011 I think you will find all the facts are correct. At PMQs 19th June 2019 Blackford, SNP asked Mrs May about Johnson's proposal to exterminate the Scottish Nation. Westminster senior politicians should all know about this and you will find it reported in 'Hansard'.
- Hopefully Sir Keir Starmer opposes proposals for the 'extermination' of all Jews even Scottish Jews, but perhaps you know better.
- Just because Boris went to Eton why does everyone think it acceptable for him to have published a demand for the lynching or extermination; of the Speaker of the Commons, of Prime Minister Tony Blair, of his own Tory Party Chairman and even of his former wife Allegra Johnson, and all just for being Scottish. So please can you explain which of these facts are incorrect or explain where I have inserted my own opinions. Perhaps I should avoid the term lynching as Michie and Boris just demand 'comprehensive extermination'. They do not say whether the Jewish children to be slaughtered in Scotland should be lynched, poisoned, shot, gassed or garroted but genocide is an ugly business. Boris should know this from what happened in Rwanda where 800,000 Africans were hacked to death and where 100,000 women were raped and sexually mutilated. - I shouldn't need to explain why a poem intended as satire is not a "demand for total genocide" of Scots. Your edits to Starmer's article firstly have zero to do with him, and secondly seem to mostly be you soapboxing. It's not encyclopedic content - please see WP:NPOV. — Czello 16:27, 23 August 2022 (UTC)
- Some time ago I put a hopefully correct answer to Samson's Riddle on Wikipedia. The Riddle was about Ambrosia, the food of the Gods which we encounter as Manna in Exodus and which was sweet like honey. This was my own solution so I had no complaint when it was taken down.
- The fact that someone, probably Boris himself, suggests that Friendly Fire is was satirical does not mean that its OK. Michie and Johnson erweree demanding total genocide, a bit like the Rwandan genocide but the sprinkling of holocaust terms like 'verminous' Ghetto' extermination and final'solution' indicate Michie had the Nazi blue print in mind. For Spectator readers who thought gassing Jews at Auschwitz was funny the thought of gassing or lynching Scots in Kilts might be even funnier. Most people wouldn't consider this satirical they would regard it is extreme racism and anti-Semitism. Check the Outrage at the Scottish Herald published the day before Friendly Fire was published. Even apologists for Boris like Toby Young thought it unaccrptable and he suggested Boris must have been away when it was accepted for publication while others claim it has been withdrawn from the archives. These claims are both false. (I have checked the archives a dozen times since 2019 and could always find it). Do you think Twitter and Facebook think calling for Jews to be exterminated is acceptable. Both these web sites now display Michie's work?
- When Hitler first became Chancellor he said no need for Jews to worry as the bit in Mein Kampf about Jews and ethnic cleansing was just a joke or satirical. Later they realised he was lying and that he really didn't like Jews. This is relevant for Starmer because he claims he has a zero tolerance policy towards anti Semitism but always failed to confront Boris about his publication of a demand to restart the extermination of Jews. I find Starmer's behaviour difficult to comprehend. Dragonsteethred (talk) 18:41, 23 August 2022 (UTC)
- None of this addresses the fundamental issue that you're trying to insert your own opinions into the article. Wikipedia only represents what's been widely reported elsewhere - see WP:N. Otherwise this is original research. And, on a personal level, I sincerely hope you don't legitimately believe Boris Johnson wants to commit genocide of Scottish people. Even Krankie doesn't believe that. — Czello 19:14, 23 August 2022 (UTC)
- Thank you for explaining your comments. Boris has said that as a student or younger man he was a cocaine user. He may have been snorting something stronger than baking powder while he was at the Spectator. In 20094 almost every senior position at Westninster was taken by a Scot. I expect staff at the Spectator were seething. Scots were occupying the jobs Johnson thought he and his chums deserved to have. Tory Leader Ian Duncan Smith Scot, Deputy Leader Scot, Labour PM Scot, Chancellor Scot, Lib Leader Scot Ming Campbell Scot, Tory Chief Whip Scot, Tory Chairman DR Fox Scot, and Alastair Campbell running No 10 Scottish father. Almost only non Scot was Michael Howard who is a Welsh Jew.
- Boris uses dog whistle politics like Trump and like Trump thinks Democratic rules should not get in his way. His statements about Aftica suggests Africans should be treated with contempt. I think he said it would be better if we went back into Africa but with any sense of conscience. So bring back the slave trade. I suspect if Boris had been a politician in Nazi Germany he would have had few qualms about exterminating Jews. Are you happy with the idea of a former drug user having his finger on the Nuclear button? Well hopefully he will leave the Government soon unless Truss reappoints him. Of course we know Boris does not always tell the truth. Perhaps he lied when he said he snorted cocaine and sneezed perhaps he is still takes drugs when he goes on holiday.
- When Boris became an PM he swore an Oath of Loyalty to the Queen he would have sworn another Oath of Loyalty when he was appointed to the Privy Council. He regards any sort of loyalty to the Queen as a joke. If the Queen has Scottish blood he proposed she should face the chop. This in itself represents treason or High Treason and makes it clear where his loyalties lie. Why do you think the Cabinet Office welcome Boris into the Government when he was known to be fond of racist language and his reputation for dishonesty proceeded him.The Cabinet Office appears to have lost its moral compass and like Boris appear to regard their sense of loyalty to the Queen as a bit of a joke.
- I willrecheck my contribution and try to make it more acceptable. Dragonsteethred (talk) 21:18, 23 August 2022 (UTC)
