Wikipedia is not for writing about yourself

Welcome to Wikipedia, but it is not a place like Facebook or LinkedIn for people to write about themselves. It is a quite different sort of site, a project to build an encyclopedia, so it is selective about subjects for articles, and writing about oneself is strongly discouraged, for reasons explained at Wikipedia is not about YOU and Wikipedia:Autobiography.

Why deleted

I would like to provide some additional information to explain why User:Dr.Owusu Kizito has been deleted.

I don't know whether you are Dr.Owusu Kizito or you are someone else with the intention to write about that person. If that is your name, then you are writing an autobiography which is not permitted. If that is not your name and you are writing about someone else then your username violates our username policy. Your generally free to pick just about any username which can be a your name a variation of your name or a made up name but you cannot use the real name of a real person if it isn't you.--S Philbrick (Talk) 13:25, 2 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
