Hi DoubleGrazing,
There is no duplicate here - the original has been abandoned. I have taken over with a new submission. There is no COI here - I am retired, live in Canada and my hobby is CNC based. I have been a user of DeskProto for many years. I am not being compensated in any way for submitting this wiki article. How to go about voiding the initial submission so that my article can at least be reviewed? Please advise. DpProxyMan (talk) 21:02, 20 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Moving articles subject to a deletion discussion

[edit]

Please do not move articles under deletion discussion to new titles. All that achieves is work for others. Assuming the article is kept then it can be moved. If it is deleted then any moves made are irrelevant. I have returned it to its original title, and annotated the deletion discussion accordingly 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 22:47, 23 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to User:Timtrent/cv, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 06:32, 24 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think you made a mistake - after all it is your page Dude. DpProxyMan (talk) 11:55, 24 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The page may be in my user space, but everything here is licenced in the same manner. Your behaviour was disruptive in that it caused two other editors to revert your edits, and discourteous. If you have something to say to me you may say it courteously and directly.
If you wish to challenge my opinion that the draft you moved twice to mainspace please do so at the deletion discussion. Note that this is a policy based discussion. Emotional defences are almost always disregarded. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 17:50, 24 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
We are all entitled to our opinion - right Dude? DpProxyMan (talk) 17:59, 24 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Feel at liberty to express yours courteously and well. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 18:31, 24 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 week for treating Wikipedia as a battleground. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.   -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she|they|xe) 07:42, 26 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Between your obviously retaliatory CSDing of Timtrent's user subpage, your hostile tone when called out for that, and now your "STFU" to Uhai, it's clear that you're treating Wikipedia as a battleground, not a collaborative workspace. Hopefully this will give you some time to reässess how you contribute here, and frankly whether you want to contribute here, as continued editing of this nature will lead to an indefinite block in short order. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she|they|xe) 07:45, 26 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to Wikipedia:Wikipedia is not a reliable source, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. My comment regarding donating to an unreliable source is well justified and is inline with the overall context of this article. This may upset you but that is unavoidable in a free for all editing environment. You may disagree and dislike my statement but that does not make it untrue. Hence I may in future restore my earlier statement as I do consider it to be both relevant and constructive. DpProxyMan (talk) 20:25, 24 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Don't do that. There is clearly no consensus for that change. You've already been blocked once for battleground editing, let's not do that again. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 21:15, 24 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Expressing an opinion - if you object - I say to you - don't do that. 173.177.32.28 (talk) 02:12, 25 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
